Stock up!

I love to buy a bunch of these when they're on sale. It's a good shadow for a very econimical price. They apply evenly and don't fade too much throughout the day, and they come in tons of shades. My favorite is Champagne, which I've been using as a browbone highlighter for nearly 10 years.

Fantastic product, great value!

I love these eyeshadows! They do what you would expect from a high-end product and for $3, you can't complain. Plus, there's so much product in each container. I've been using Tapestry Taupe for 5 years already while trying out other shades from Covergirl.

Lighter shades never worked for me

I bought a 4 kit in a light shadow. The packaging was ok. But since I had light colors it never really showed when I applied it. I even coated it a lot still no visible results. Probably I should try darker shades. I was not happy with lighter shades.

Fab for the price!

I have a problem sometimes with less expensive brands of eyeshadows looking chalky or powdery! I've tried a few from CoverGirl and they stayed on really well for the low price point! Of course, nothing beats using eyeshadow primer-- and with primer, these really last.

They don't have a lot of pigments, so not the best option when going out.

Great colors, little pigment

Love the color selection! I find that it's not as densely pigmented as dept store brands.

Cheap and Wonderful

I have a few of these in different colors and I love every one. The shadow goes on smooth and blends perfectly! Also, the color selection is great. This eyeshadow works well with water in order to get a more intense pigment. My only issue is that it doesn't stay on all day without creasing. An eyeshadow primer fixed that right up.

Love CG!

This was a genius product. It comes in so many vibrant colors that truly last all day. It's perfect for the person who doesn't use all the shadows that come in those fancy palettes, either because they don't like all the colors, or like me, aren't sure what to do with all those colors.

Love / Hate

For this brand, I have Brown Smolder and Gold Sizzler. It doesn't make my eyes itch, which is a top priority. The brown is fine, though it did crack in my makeup bag & is now a mess in the package. The gold, however; is invisible. It was a total waste of money. I bought a beautiful Stila shadow instead. Based on the reviews here, it sounds like I will get a great deal on dark shades, but not light ones.
