It really gets my skin squeaky clean, and it's good quality too; you only need a little bit so even though it's expensive for a bottle, if you're careful it'll last for a long time. Best Make-up Remover...Period!
I use the Purity every evening to remove my makeup. This is the ONLY make-up remover to completely take off my eye make-up without a lot of irritation. Honestly, my eyes sting for about 10 seconds, and then all make-up is gone. If you have found that it does not work as well as you expected, try using this with a Clarisonic! Very gentle!
I have been using this cleanser for a week now and absolutely love it. I see why it has such a strong following of people. This is a "one-step facial cleanser" that cleanses, tones, and moisturizes all in one step. I wash my face in the am and pm and use about a nickel size when using this product. I...read more do not even have to use eye makeup remover before using purity, I just use circular motions all over my face including my eyebrows ( I wear eyebrow makeup) and eyelids (I wear eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner on top, pencil eyeliner on bottom, and mascara) and all of it comes off without any irritation or residue. My face feels clean, smells excellent, and is makeup free. I also cleanse my neck and decollete that way and it feels great on both! Upon drying my face it is soft, looks bright, and I can move right onto my serum and moisturizer. The 8 oz bottle is around $23 but depending on how much of a squirt you use it may last you between a month to three months. I have been using other Philosophy products and am very happy with my purchases! WOW!
My niece found a sample of this in my cabinet and was just amazed at the moist, foamy, amazing feeling this cleanser gave when she used just a tiny dab. It made me laugh because I was just as surprised the first time I used it. This cleanser is the best! It even removes most mascara with normal cleansing. HOLY GRAIL
About 2 months ago during the holiday season, I visited my local Sephora to see what goodies I could find on a minimal budget. As many of you know, by the registers at Sephora there are a bunch of bins with mini size products usually around $15 and under (which is actually pretty low priced for Sephora items). I came across a travel size bottle of the Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser a...read morend decided to try it out since I've heard and read a lot of great reviews on it. The product comes in a 3 oz bottle, which was priced at $10. They have other sizes at different prices (8 oz $20, 16 oz $32, 24 oz $40, and 32 oz $47.50) however I decided to stick with the smallest and cheapest bottle so I can test it out without loosing a lot of money. On the Sephora site, the product description claims that it "is a ph-balanced formula that rapidly dissolves dirt and makeup while deep cleaning pores." I would have to agree, this product definitely dissolves any dirt or makeup without any effort at all, and it does a wonderful job in providing a refreshing and clean feeling! The consistency of this product is very liquidy, yet it lathers very well and very quickly! I actually use this product with my Sephora Complexion Brush, you can check out my review of that brush here, which allows me to have a more deep facial cleansing experience. This product is perfect for any skin type: dry, oily, combination! In addition, it is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin, yet strong enough to remove any dirt and makeup. The product actually is worth the price, simply because it lasts for quite a while; the 3 oz bottle I have is still not empty after using once a day for 2 months straight; simply because a little bit goes a long way. I am very impressed with this One-Step Cleanser, I've noticed since using this product, the redness on my face (around my nose and chin) has diminished, and since using this product I have not broken out or had any allergic reaction (which is what I am always concerned about since I have sensitive skin). This cleanser is infused with sage, chamomile, and carrot, all of which are anti-inflammatory, calming, and gentle ingredients. The highlights of why this product is great: Removes dirt and makeup in an instant. Minimizes any redness on the face. Clears up any imperfections such as minor acne. I believe I will re-purchase the Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser in a bigger size, just because my face has definetely been more clear and feeling a lot cleaner and refreshed, but also because the product will last months and months to come therefore making this a good value for the price.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 15 of 15 people said helpful
