This make up remover is a great deal for the price. It's super gentle, smells great and is more than affordable for a bottle that lasts me a long time.

The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

The skin around my eyes is pretty sensitive, and I have always been really happy with most of The Body Shops products, but I wasn't really thrilled with this particular eye make up remover. I don't wear water proof mascara, and I thought this would be ideal for me. Luckily, I was able to get it on sale, or I would be far more disappointed in it than I already am.

favorite makeup remover

I really like this camomile eye make up remover, it's the best I've found. Gentle removes without irritation. Good value, a little goes a long way.

fav eye makeup remover

A little bit of this on a cotton pad and one swipe over the eye and everything comes off. best remover ever.

Great product in a Hulk bottle

First I was using this and it didn't take off my cream eyeliner at all and just smeared it around, but then I read the instructions on the site (just in case, you never know!) and it suggested to press it over your eye for a bit THEN wipe! It was like magic erase. They give you a colossal bottle that's sure to last you forever, doesn't sting unless you open your eyes, and takes off waterproof stuff as well.

Unpleasant fragrance and harsh formula

It doesn't have much to do with chamomile to be honest. It smells chemical and us not gentle to skin at all - I had slight burning sensation.

The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

This is a quite effective eye make up cleanser. However, it caused a moderate irritation to my eyes; I think it is a decent eye make up remover, just not for those with sensitive eyes.

Great

It gets off mascara like a charm and doesn't make it go under the water line area (I've had a lot of trouble with this). The smell is quite strange but too subtle to hate! :p refreshing

Inexpensive and it works

This product is inexpensive and it does work. It removes my eye makeup easily without me having to tug or pull at my eyes. There is no redness just calm skin left. HOWEVER, I can't stand the smell of the product. The smell actually makes me nauseous. I prefer to use their Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser for removing both my eye makeup and face makeup.

They give this stuff away...for a reason.

I got my bottle of this product in a gift bag a few years ago. I notice that whenever The Body Shop does a special sample bag, they'll put in a a full-sized bottle of this product. Here's what I like about it; because it's camomile, it doesn't irritate my skin. It does take off heavy eyeshadows without any harsh rubbing on my part. Where's what I don't like about it, and maybe this is just true o...read moref all eye make-up removers: it doesn't take off mascara effectively. I can rub this into my lashes, put more remover on a cotton pad, keep rubbing, put more product on, rub, and rub, and rub and there will still be mascara coming off. If I think I've gotten it all off I'll be proven wrong in the morning with those wonderful black marks under my eyes from the melted mascara. Granted I use the eye make-up remover to remove those marks, but I've just had better success with removing mascara with coconut oil.
