Mary Kay's eye primer is the best for the price of about $12! Your eye makeup will last longer with this, but might not make it through all day and all night. I love the Urban Decay Primer but it is more expensive.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Goes on smooth

Mary Kay eye primer
This is an amazing product. I am a make up junkie and have tried lots of eye primers, usually by the afternoon my eyeshadow has formed a very pretty crease over my eyelid. Not so with the Mary Kay primer. I get up pretty early for work and by the time I go to take my make up off at night it looks just like when i first put it on. It's moderately priced. I've tried more expensive primers that don't do what this does with just a little bit. middle of the road
not udpp, but not shadow alone either. slight color correction but my mary kay mineral shadow did still fade by the end of my hectic workday. with no primer tho, the same shadow is gone in 3 hours on me. so it buys a little time. there are better primers out there.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

MK Eye Primer
I don't normally use eye primer but I decided to give this one a try just to see if I noticed a difference. I will say that it does make eyeshadow last for a very long time. I have oily skin so some eyeshadows will crease as the day goes on. I have no regrets about this purchase. Some advice though: you don't need to use A LOT of the product to get the coverage you need. It spreads on very smooth ...read moreso a little will go a long way. I usually use my ring finger to apply it but even a small concealer brush will work as well. Long Lasting!
The one thing I've really liked about the Mary Kay eye primer is that a little bit goes a long way. I've used this primer for years because I use mostly eye shadows from the grocery store rather then department or professional brands. When using a lower cost eye shadow, this primer really helps it to stick and makes the color long lasting and without creasing. Wonderful Product!
This was my first eye primer ever and I'm so happy that I chose this; couldn't be happier to see that a first-time product could be the one to use for years to come! You only need less than a pea size to cover one eye, It glides on easily, I let it set for about a minute before applying any eye makeup. It also added more life to the eyeshadows as compared to applying on a bare lid. My makeup also stayed on longer than usual, which was pleasing. The packaging is great, and I like that this comes in a tube. $12 did seem like alot so I actually got mine for 7 bucks on ebay. I always carry it in my little travel pouch to keep it handy. it's not the best product mary kay
