quality has gone down - not as pigmented as they used to be
i've been using mac shadows for years and have purchased the same colors over and over again. for the last year even the same colors have different pigmentation and don't wear as well. their quality has gone way down :(This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Not a fan
As a part time makeup artist I have been around the block and I think for the amount of money you pay MAC is not worth it. The texture is too chalky for me, and the color does not last or blend easily. As an Urban Decay user (among other brands) MAC disapointed me. Stunning color
Once I used my first pot of MAC I never purchased another cheap eyeshadow again. It is so worth the extra money for the pigment is much more pronounced and you use tons less which looks even better since you do not have cakey eyes. You should just buy one. A neutral everyday shade and then slowly build your collection if you have to. Very Pigmented
I love my 1 MAC eyeshadow that I have! I own the color Amber Lights which is a very pretty gold. It has great pigmentation, so a little goes a long way. It doesn't crease and it lasts all day in the freezing cold or burning hot sun. MAC has a very wide range of colors. They are silky and smooth and they are very easy to blend. The only thing is my eyeshadow broke after dropping it on wood. S0000000000000 having over 80 Mac eye shadows GOLD MINE is my fav!!. You can mix it with any other color or multiple colors . Also lightly apply it to you lips before applying lip gloss or after applying lipstick. Another one.. Apply it to your cheeks after applying bronzer or blush!! Many colors to choose from
I tried this eyeshadow because of the many colors available that you can choose from. It became one of my favorites instantly. The pigmentation is good. It glides on smoothly and is not dry and yet it stays for a long time and does not crease at all.
