Smells Luscious, But Heavy on My Skin

Korres makes some exceptional products. I found their "Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing and Brightening Cream" a little disappointing. It smells wonderful (I am drawn to all things rose). But it is too heavy under my makeup, and I don't have oily skin. It is also lacking an SPF factor. I prefer a moisturizer I can wear under makeup, one which absorbs into my complexion well and one which I don't even realize I am wearing.

For dry dry skin only.

I have a sample of this and have given it a try because my skin is dry and sensitive from Accutane. PROS: Leaves less of a shine than many other moisturizers (but still slight). Smells absolutely wonderful (like roses). Hasn't caused breakouts (although Accutane may be more responsible for that!) Moisturizes well all day long. CONS: SPF is rather low. Can cause a whitish cast that must be rubbed i...read moren if you use too much. Very expensive ($32.50 for 1. 4 fl oz.) Overall, a nice product. I'm on the fence about purchasing because it's so expensive and so low SPF so will probably try something new instead. Also, just a warning to combo/oily skinned gals--I would not recommend this for you.

Great winter lotion

I love using this Korres lotion in the winter instead of my normal Yogurt lotion. The Wild Rose lotion is much thicker and creamier - perfect for dull, dry winter skin. It absorbs well, but I tend to use it as a night cream instead because it doesn't absorb quickly. A little bit goes a long way, so a jar will last through fall and winter. I sent some to my friend who live in Michigan, and she loves this stuff for windburn (she is a runner). She uses it after she is done running and washed the sunscreen off her face, since she doesn't use this as the SPF is so low. The scent is really nice as well.

mmmm

this is so thick and creamy, its perfect under my foundation and all my dry patches are gone! a very tiny bit covers my entire face. even more hydrating then cliniques moisture surge

Ultra hydrating

This is a great cream, albeit low on the SPF. It absorbs well, and for those with dry skin, it would be a great option, and of course you have to layer your SPF face cream on over - but you should either way - since I don't know anyone who really reads their labels and checks that the right sunscreen active ingredients are in their moisturizer, as well as high enough up on the list of ingredients...read more. Good moisturizer

The SPF is so low that I wouldn't bother rating this as a sunscreen moisturizer. Still it is a great winter moisturizer or night lotion. It is quite moisturizing but not too heavy on dry skin. It has a nice light scent and absorbs quickly. It is a bit pricey but a great moisturizer.

A good moisturizer

This is a good moisturizer, but nothing special. I have bought it about three times, and do love the texture and feel of it. It does sink in, but the problem is, it is similar to other ones for less. I would definity buy it all of the time if it were half the price, but there are some really good moisturizers out there right now for this price and I would rather use those which have results.

good for dry skin

I have normal skin--you can use this but it has to be done sparingly or else it will leave an oil slick on your face--I really feel it's more like a night cream and that's how I'm using it--for daytime wear I only use a drop--my product is in a red jar because it's the added brightening cream --unless they updated the product--it's all natural--it has a very faint rose smell --the cream is thick--...read morenot really good for summer wear --it does leave your face feeling soft and supple for 24hrs--I feel for the full benefit of this cream you really need to have more dry skin--for us true normals it's an overload

One of my fave moisturizers!!

I have been using this for years and I love it! Its lightweight, feels great, smells great and is perfect for a summer moisturizer. I have turned so many of my friends on to this product and all have been happy with it. Its just one of those must have beauty items.....the whole line is great to be honest.
