Retinol is best used at night

I cannot speak to the ability of this product to diminish wrinkles/ fine lines; I'm only 21 so I don't have any of that going on. I have only been using it for a little over a week but I notice a significant lightening of my under eye circles! The skin around my eyes is smoother. It also helps prevent tired looking eyes the next morning if you didn't get enough sleep. The texture of this cream is very, very light. It absorbs quickly without any greasy residue & doesn't sting my skin at all (this is the first time I am using anything with retinol in it, but I also don't have very sensitive skin). As a bonus, I use a dot of it on blemishes & it helps them heal much faster & prevents acne marks. minor irritation

Not really helping me
OK, given the fact that my circles make me look like a football player, and that my Lake Michigan puffiness, both mainly from allergies and very, very fair skin, are, to say the least, extreme, I may be asking too much from this cream. Effective all around eye cream
I got a tube of this free with a purchase of the Roc Retinol Night treatment (which I am a die-hard fan of). I have found this to live up to its full face counterpart. The cream is thick enough to offer moisture without leaving your eyelids wet for hours. I have found the formula works well for softening the lines around my eyes. It also seems to have some effects on brightening the skin aroun...read mored my eyes. I noticed results immediately in that my eyes instantly looked brighter and refreshed and also noticed that over time the fine lines around my eyes seemed softer and more subtle. I also found that after using the tube up that my under eye circles did seem to be lighter and less noticeable. Ouch
I did not like this product much-it was heavy and greasy to me and irritated the skin around my eyes. I felt like I was having an allergy attack after using it and I kept having to wipe the excess off. Doesn't work for dark circles
I'm turning 24 soon and I don't have wrinkles, but have subtle dark circles. I have used this whole product up already and it has made no noticeable difference at all. Very disappointing especially since it's so pricey. RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream actually works a lot better in getting rid of dark circles. I have only been using the Lady Soma Renewal Serum in the evenings for about the last two weeks and have already noticed drastic improvements in the firmness and pigmentation under my eyes. Even when I wake up in the morning, there are no longer bags under my eyes. There is no sticky residue left over after putting it on either. Overall, this is the best eye serum i've ever tried.
