Red carpet hair and makeup perfectly translates into wedding hair and makeup. Here are five gorgeous looks on celebrity brides-to-be along with quick tips on how to emulate each one:
Reese Witherspoon (We're on serious wedding watch -- Witherspoon is rumored to be tying the knot this weekend!)
Wedding hair tip: For a gorgeous beachy wave, "let your natural texture work for you instead of fighting it," says Greg Clarke, hair and makeup artist. (Humidity always wins any way.) Loosely wrap damp hair into four or five large soft buns -- (prep hair with
Redken Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk , $16, if you're prone to frizz). Let hair fully air dry then remove buns at the last minute. Add a side part and finger comb your hair away from your face.
Wedding makeup tip: Dust bronzer over the areas of your face that the sun would naturally hit. Then add a pop of warm blush to the apples of your cheeks to keep the bronzer from looking fake or muddy.
Natalie Portman Wedding hair tip: Add hot rollers to blown out hair, says Fekkai SoHo stylist, Marshal Lin. Remove after they've cooled and sweep the hair into a low ponytail (leaving the front section loose). Roll the hair into a bun, securing with pins. Tuck the front face framing pieces into the ponytail holder and set with
Frederic Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist, $24.
Wedding makeup tip: This natural makeup look showcases Portman's great skin, says Edvina Sarukhanyan, makeup artist at Fekkai SoHo. To get a similar skin finish, "I'd recommend
Chantecaille's Just Skin Antismog Tinted Moisturizer, $62 to add light coverage to your face while keeping your skin visible," she says.
Zoe Saldana Wedding hair tip: Start with a center part and curl hair with a 1 1/4-inch iron, says Lin. Gently shake it out with your fingers and pull hair back into a low ponytail (keeping some loose pieces in front). Wrap into a bun and secure with pins.
Wedding makeup tip: "Prime" the lid with concealer before adding highlighter under your brow bones, says Sarukhanyan. Give lids a wash of light-colored shadow, followed by a darker shade applied in a V-shape on the outer edge of the lid (try
Jane Iredale's PurePressed Triple Eyeshadow , $27). Rim the eye with black liner, smudging with the darker shadow, then add mascara to finish.
Kristen Bell Wedding hair tip: Blow dry your hair, adding volume at the crown, says Lin. Add a center part, then loosely secure the upper half of your hair into a ponytail. (Use the end of a tail comb to "lift" the hair above the elastic for more volume.) Curl the ends with a 1 1/2-inch iron and finger comb to loosen the curls a bit.
Wedding makeup tip: This look is "youthful and pretty -- very French ingenue," says Sarukhanyan. To get a great nude lip look like this, start with a nude liner (try
Nars Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in Frivolous, $24) then apply a long wearing lipstick in a matching shade with a lip brush. Finish with a dab of clear gloss in the center of your lip.
Amy Adams Wedding hair tip: "Ponytails can be so versatile," says Clarke. "Hair texture and height of the gathering point make all the difference. Blow dry hair straight for a smooth, sleek finish. Secure hair into a high ponytail then wind a small section of hair around the elastic to conceal it -- secure that with a bobby pin under the tail. Mist a fine-toothed comb with hairspray and glide it across the front of your hair to combat flyaways.
Wedding makeup tip: This is the face of modern glamour, says Clarke. The eyes are defined but the mouth is played down with a nude tone. To get a look like this, skip the heavy foundations and try a dusting of mineral powder foundation instead. "I like
Priori CoffeeBerry Perfecting Foundation SPF 25, $45." It evens out skin (and reduces redness) without masking it, he says.

These are all great styles, but I don't know if I would wear a pony tail.. It doesn't scream Bride to me.. However, I'm sure someone would be able to pull it off.
