Even if you've stocked up on waterproof everything for your wedding day, you might still end up with creasing and smudging. Depending on your skin type and how much dance-induced sweating you incur, your precisely applied concealer could rub off, and your perfectly blended eyeshadow could migrate to your cheeks. Fortunately, there's a solution: makeup primer. If there's one product you're going to invest in for your wedding, this is it. Here are the top three we recommend:
Face: An all-over face primer will smooth out your complexion's texture, disguise pores, help your concealer blend into your skin, and make your foundation look fresh for hours. We love Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, $36, because it's lightweight and helps make your skin appear luminous on camera.
Eyes: After your eye makeup has been blended and contoured to perfection, it's frustrating to have it crease on your lids. Primer will make all the difference. Make Up For Ever Eye Prime Long Wear Eye Makeup Primer, $22, is silky and glides on so thin you can't even feel it. However, it's strong enough to lock even the smokiest eye looks in place.
Lips: If you're wearing a bold lipstick on your wedding day we're impressed -- it's a gorgeous look, but it can be tricky to maintain. Instead of a pencil liner, try a lipstick primer like Too Faced Lip Insurance Lip Primer, $19, which will help the color last twice as long -- regardless of how many glasses of champagne you sip.

I completely agree with your choices, but I would suggest that Too Faced's "Eye Shadow Insurance" will keep shadow in place through a long day and night with no touch-up's needed.

Think I'll try primer again, using one of these products, thanks!
