Bridal fashion week always makes me wish I could go back in time and get hitched again. Every season designers seem to step it up and blow my mind. The dresses alone are inspiring, sure, but I really love the collaborations with the hair and makeup teams that bring the whole look together. Check out a few of my favorite 2013 hair and makeup combos -- there's one for every type of bride, so I'm sure you'll find some inspiration for your wedding day look:

Douglas Hannant

Best For:The Sophia Loren-inspired bride who won't mind taking her time in the hair and makeup chair.

Why I love it:
This gloriously massive bundle of full curls is the perfect setting for a beautiful veil. As the ringlets fall here and there, the style will take on a new shape throughout the night, while always looking stunning. Add in pink cheeks and dewy skin and I'll cross my fingers your dress won't get jealous of all the attention your hair and makeup will be getting.

David Fielden

Best For:The Boho bride who wants minimal makeup.

Why I love it:
I love the way the eye color in this look mimics the natural pinky-taupe tones around the eyes. (I do advise you powder your forehead, nose, and chin, however.) Topped off with a circle braid around the hairline -- is there anything more hippie-chic? Plus, you can let your hair down mid-event and let the waves spill over your shoulders for a mermaid look.

Amsale

Best For:The no muss, no fuss bride who doesn't want to hassle with touch-ups even once that day.

Why I love it:
The tight ballerina bun is given a little extra sass with a deep side part. I love how the flash picks up the highlight on the hair because of the styling product. A red matte lip to finish the look, and, providing you don't hit your head on the ceiling (if you're doing the Hora) or the floor (if you're doing the worm), this look will stay put all night long.

Jenny Packham

Best For:The '30s or '40s-inspired bride.

Why I love it:
A side swept bun is perfect for photos because you'll see the style at every camera angle. Add a flushed cheek and a berry lip stain and you're all set with a natural and romantic look.

Rivini

Best For: The bride who wants to mix classic with a shocking surprise element.

Why I love it:
A slicked back low bun will stay in place all night and always look classy. When paired with a shocking pop of color on the lids -- like this powder blue -- your look will be unforgettable.

Kenneth Pool

Best For:The tasteful bride who wants to make a big splash.

Why I love it:
This modern update of the beehive is ultra chic with the side-swept bang -- and it offers a perfect setting for an antique brooch or hair comb. Keep the makeup soft and simple (rosy browns and nudes) and this hair won't look too over-the-top.

And the survey says...

The first look is lovely; the other are a bit frightening.

the first and the third one are not bad, the rest are questionable. Actually, #2 is dreadful. That lady's makeup makes her look like she hasn't slept for weeks. ugh

I like the Jenny Packham and Kenneth Pool hair/makeup looks the best. Classy and natural.
