NEVER STICK ANY OBJECT IN YOUR EYE! Line at the lashline on the OUTSIDE! For drama, line along the lower lid too.

Lining the inner rims of eyes is dangerous to your health. I don't understand why make-up artists do that b/c I agree w/ lori_ftw. Lining the waterline is bad for you. It clogs your tear ducts that keeps your eyes lubricated and clear. Take it from me, people always told me I have pretty blue eyes, but not so much anymore. I have chronic dry eye from lining the inner rims of eyes. Eye make-up is loaded with chemicals and you don't want that in your eyes. DON"T DO IT!

As a 40 y.o. I have lots of personal experience about make-up. I do not understand why they give dangerous advice out there. Lining the inner rims of your eyes is bad for you! Take it from me, people always told me I have pretty blue eyes, but not so much anymore. I have chronic dry eye from lining the inner rims of eyes. Eye make-up is loaded with chemicals and you don't want that in your eyes. DON"T DO IT!

Lining on the waterline is a good way to get an eye infection...

lining the inner lid works but you have to use a waterproof liner otherwise it off onto your lower inner lid, despite what they say about drying your inner lid w/ a q-tip.

I learned to line the inner eye lid by starting at the inner corner of my eye and kinda closing my lid and sweeping across the lid with the pencil. Takes a little practice but it works for me!!
