This video has a lot of great tips for taking a photo. A lot of times, I've noticed that my face is so much lighter than the rest of my body in a photo. I do disagree about lip color because I think I look better when my lips are noticeable and defined, not nude.

These are great if you're going to get a headshot taken or something, but they're not so great if you're going out in public and happen to be with friends and decide to take a picture...Honestly, I wouldn't put on darker foundation, even if there was a tiny chance I would take a picture.
