Bust out your make up bag, grab some concealer and dot along dark circles. Blend outward using a fingertip or make up sponge. Line inner rims (upper and lower) with white pencil eyeliner, which makes red, tired eyes look brighter. Use light strokes from outer to inner eye corners.

Using an eye shadow make up brush, dust yellow or gold shimmer shadow just below your brow line to open up your entire eye area. Dab the inner eye corners of your eyes -- by the bridge of your nose, but not on the actual bone -- with the same shadow to deliver the "wide awake" eye look you're going for. Apply light shadow from lashline to crease. Best shades are in the pale pink and vanilla family. They reduce redness without closing off the eye area as darker shadow tends to do. Curl eyelashes to further "open" the area. Swipe upper lashes only with two coats of black mascara.

I'll have to try the gold/pale yellow shadow trick. That's a new one to me. :) Thanks

I wish I knew what type of white pencil eyeliner was used. I can never get it to stay on my inner rim.
