FRESH SUPERNOVA MASCARA

I am currently in love with this mascara. It is not perfect, but have yet to find one that is. My only complaint is that it straightens my lashes a bit. I must compensate by curling them for an extra second or two. This mascara goes on beautifully, does not flake, and lasts a long time. It is everything I thought YSL would be but just isn't. Sometimes I like to use the brush straight from the container. Sometimes I wipe off the excess before application. Either way, I like the way it goes on and wears throughout the day. In addition, this mascara is very conditioning. That has been an unexpected benefit. I will purchase this again. I'm so over the drugstore mascaras that flake within 10 minutes of application. I have decently long eyelashes, and this just takes them higher and higher. I love to apply this just by blinking my lashes through the wand, the color is PHENOMENAL. What a beautiful, rich, jet black formula. It comes off easily with a makeup removing wipe, I use Neutrogena wipes. Don't rub your eyes while wearing this, it will smudge on your lower rims, but I don't care, this mascara is worth every penny. It is my HG mascara. Also, I have straight lashes and I curl them, then apply, and it does a pretty good job of holding them up. The Armani Eyes to Kill is comparable to this but it is just not as wonderful as the Supernova. The color is much more intense, the formula is less irritating, it conditions your lashes, and comes off easily. LOVE. I was hesitant to try Fresh mascaras because of the mixed reviews. So I bought the mini duo instead of the full sized ones to save some money in case they don't work for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised by them. I've used numerous mascaras, from Dior, Lancome, Guerlain, YSL, Armani to L'oreal, Maybelline, and Rimmel. Fresh Supernova is definitely one of the better ones. The Fresh mascaras strongly remind me of Dior, with their large brushes. They perform similarly to Diorshow as well (better than Dior Blackout and Iconic IMO). They separate my lashes really well, and gave absolutely no clumping after a couple coats. Fresh Supernova lengthened my lashes very well, but did not give much volume. Overall, it is a good mascara for everyday use, but I would not use it if I want really dramatic lashes. Although I like it, I'm not sure if I would repurchase due to its high price. It's not bad, but I can get something even better with the money. I would recommend it to others, but it's not my favourite. Fresh Supernova is the best mascara I have come across in a long time. I apply a coat of this followed by a coat of Firebird for long, lush amazing lashes that might as well be fake. It never goes on clumpy or makes my lashes stick together. It even stays on in the humid heat. It comes off easily with make up remover and doesn't leave my lashes feeling brittle. I adore this mascara. I splurged on it after I realized how much drugstore mascaras were harming my lashes - not only drying them out but making them thinner and less supple. I will never go back. Not only did this mascara make my lashes look more beautiful while on - longer, fuller, with excellent definition - but it really did condition my lashes. Yes, it is $25, but many mascaras are that much or more so in that context I think it is worth it if you have that sort of budget. Unfortunately I did not and do not, so I was unable to repurchase it, opting instead for Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes (purchased with a discount). $25 ? Really ? This is why I get my mascaras from Target. I got a sample and liked it, and my gma ended up getting me one. And I loved it. Until I ran out after a month. What an amazing product! I love it for it stays! especially when using it for lower lashes, they just stay there without getting all over your skin (this can cause you look like u have dark circles!!!!) I LOVE this mascara. I use it all the time and it is worth every scent. It doesn't make my eyes burn like some mascaras do and its very black. It also does an amazing job of making my eyelashes look like I have false ones. I wouldn't really suggest using it on the bottom lashes too much because it tends to rub if you rub your eyes a lot like I do. od (and Fresh) -willing, I will wear this mascara till the day I die, even if I have to compose the rest of my makeup arsenal enttirely with Wet n Wild. I am a mascara addict and I have spent the last few months bouncing between various mascaras, and after re-trying this stuff at Sephora the other day, on a whim, I scolded myself for not immediately re-purchasing this after I last ran out. I admit, I have been blessed with thick, long eyelashes (according to some), but I still like to amp them up as much as I can, and this stuff does the trick. I love it for so many reasons, it's hard to find a place to begin! You don't have to scrub the delicate skin around your eyes raw or lose eyelashes just to get it off, which is one thing I LOATHE about other mascaras, and not just the waterproof ones. Another thing I love about this mascara is the lush, buildable formula. You have the freedom to coat your lashes once for a bit of lash definition, twice to amp it up a bit, and three times if you want people to ask you if your eyelashes are falsies. Another thing I adore about this stuff (yes I know, I could write an epic love poem about this magical goop) is that it eliminates the need for an eyelash curler, completely. I say this because I have attempted curling my lashes prior to applying it, and it made my eyelashes curl back so far and awkwardly that it was counterproductive. Yes it's expensive, but it is, in my opinion, nothing short of miraculous (as far as mascaras go) and therefore it is entirely worth carving a place in your budget for. I got a mini set with Firebird and Supernova in a pack, and this Supernova mascara is better than the Firebird one. This brush gives lashes the definition they need, but when applied after curling lashes, it makes the lashes go limp and straight. It is defining and volumizing, and a bit lengthening, but it smudges and leaves raccoon eyes.
