Temporary Love
When I first got this product, I was in love after my first use. My hair was immediately bouncy and soft, as if I had just stepped out of the salon after a fresh hair cut. I have very long hair and so it's very important to keep it well conditioned, especially down to the tips - this conditioner definitely revived any signs of heat tool/blow dryer use. I raved about this and told all of my friends (they noticed my hair)...but then after a few months (on to the second bottle) I fell out of love. After a while, I felt that maybe it caused build up or that it just wasnt helping my hair anymore. My hair started becoming a little weighed down and I lost interest in this...though I do keep the old bottle around and use it every now and then. If not used every time you wash your hair and it is alternated with other lighter conditioners, it seems to work just fine. As a last note, I must rave about the smell. I have alwas loved the smell of aussie products and for that, it should get at least five stars. One of the few conditioners from which the smell stays in your hair all day long. Better for my hair than Redken!
I recenty started using Redken All Soft, which is great..mostly. My hair was weighed down at first, then I switched the order of the products and found that my hair felt much better if I conditioned first, then used shampoo to clean it/get rid of excess product. I have fine hair that is very hard to satisfy in terms of moisture without it acting all flat and gross. Overall, my hair was better, but the ends were much drier than the rest of my hair (even if I went back and conditioned the ends again) and I started getting rat's nests like I did when I was 7. Anyway, I went to Walmart searching for another conditioner they didn't carry, and decided to get the Aussie Moist on sale for less than 3 bucks. I used it, followed by the Redken shampoo, and a little extra conditioner on the ends to deep condition it, and my hair is super manageable, soft, and tangle free. Best of all, I lost like three strands of hair in the shower instead of 50! There was even some shine to it before using any product. Inexpensive and Great!
I was surprised at how moisturizing Aussie's conditioner turned out to be at the price that I paid. It is comparable to more expensive salon brands and works just as well. Not for fine hair
Paired with the shampoo, these were moderately hydrating, but weighed down my hair a lot. My hair was flat against my head and heavy. I tried using less of the conditioner, but I was still weighed down. For those with thicker hair, this would probably be a decent conditioner and shampoo combination. The best - even for highlights

OK stuff...

uhmmm...not really digging it

Really Moist!
This conditioner is really moisturizing! I only use this on the lower half of my hair, because I believe the shampoo has made my scalp a little too moist.
