sticking with the regular ones

I love the regular pore strips so thought I'd try these figuring with "ultra" in the name it would yank out more blackheads. Far from it. These hardly removed any blackheads and trust me my skin gets them pretty bad in my T-zone. I'm sticking with the regular ones. — 3 years, 7 months ago

I was expecting a lot more out of the "ultra" strips. I have a pack for my forehead (don't need them) and my nose. I used them a few times, but find they don't pull out all of the blackheads. — 1 year, 5 months ago

Ineffective, and OUCH!

Having had little to no results with the original strips, I was dumb enough to spend money on this "Ultra" version. Granted, I was more intent on using them on my boyfriend than myself (huge man-pores truly deliver that crazy strip-as-porcupine effect that's so fun/gross to see). Anyway, they hurt WAY more than the original version, and they still didn't manage to grab onto any of MY blackheads (Well, maybe one, but I can see many more that it missed). They also leave behind a residue that has to be rinsed-off, lest you be left with redness and discomfort. And again, I think these actually CAUSE breakouts. — 3 years ago

Fun, but not helpful

I don't really notice much of a difference between the Biore pore strips and the Ultra strips. They aren't really good for keeping your pores clear. It is fun to see the bits of oil stuck onto the strip, but it doesn't really keep your pores clear and the deeply rooted blackheads and whiteheads don't come out on the strip. Also, using these also irritates my skin so I only like using them when my skin is generally pretty happy anyways. Fun, but not really good for my complexion. — 3 years ago

Too good to be true

...a strip that gets rid of blackheads? Blackheads gone with one rip? I knew it was too good to be true. Didn't do anything for my pores. After you remove the strip, your pores may be a little tight from whatever chemicals are on the strip, and it may appear that your blackheads are gone but they're just hidden :( Save your money! — 4 years, 3 months ago

I love them so much! I've been using them for years and if I don't use them for month or two my nose skin feels with little bumps and my makeup looks horribly. It didn't work on a friend but on me, this those miracles. My boyfriend has a lot of blackheads on his nose and this helps getting rid of them, plus I love to look at all the junk that was stuck in his pores, it is another world there! I use them once a week to physically remove blackheads. They are not a permanent solution but it helps getting rid of the ones you have already so now you can focus on prevention other then getting rid of blackheads. They do hurt sometimes when they get very dry, but come on guys! Read the instructions! It says that if it hurts getting the strip off just apply a bit of water over it to soften and get it off without pain and it also says that it can leave a white trace on your skin which you can get rid off with a bit of water and soap. This is indispensable on my cabinet, my sister's cabinet and my future mother-in law cabinet, I swear! — 1 month, 2 weeks ago

I wish this product concept actually worked because my nose is ravaged with blackheads and has been for years now, but unfortunately I can't recommend these in any way possible :| The only ultra they are is ultra irritating, they're basically a piece of gauze with hairspray on it, plus irritating menthol and eucalyptus.
