worth the investment
this is on the higher end of the drugstore price range (but still conveninently available at target!) not surprising, since i was first introduced to the b&b product line at a pricey downtown sf salon (which i sadly can no longer afford). my "master stylist" used to add a couple of spritzes while styling my hair and my tresses always looked amazing after he finished blow-drying and flat ironing. n...read moreow i know it was a combo of his magic touch plus this magic product since i finally came close to replicating the look at home after using this styling lotion! a few spritzes before flat ironing and my hair is perfectly stick straight and devoid of waves, while ends look healthy - not dry and damaged like they usually look after being hit with some heat. this spray also worked with a curling iron, leaving me with big bouncy curls that still felt soft to the touch. it also has a nice light scent that i like. i'll try to use it sparingly but it's worth the splurge!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

GREAT!

Not for me
I love bumble and bumble products but this one simply did not work for me. While I am sure a hair stylist can master using it, every time I tried it left my hair feeling gross. My hair felt hard and unmanageable. It was sticky and not workable. A great styling product
This is a great styling product with excellent hold that gives hair body and bounce no matter how you style it. I apply it liberally after using Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Primer and then let my hair air dry overnight. In the morning I use a curling iron to create loose waves that I run a brush through only once to loosen up the curl just a bit. But be careful not to over spray or this styling lotion could get a bit sticky. A light coating is all that's needed and then run a wide tooth comb through to make sure that the lotion is evenly distributed. Because of the primer, I get no frizz and my hair is protected from the heat of the curling iron. But the styling lotion also adds shine and smells amazing. If you want a product that adds loads of bouncy body no matter how you style, then this is the product you want. It's been around for years and as far as I'm concerned, there's none better. Yes, it's expensive, but like I said, a little goes a long way so the bottle lasts quite a long time, depending on the length of your hair. Mine is collarbone length and it lasts me a couple of months at least. I've tried to find a less expensive dupe, but I've just wasted my money because nothing else comes close. This product is unique. It's lightweight yet has strong hold that keeps my style in place despite the fact that my hair is impossible to hold and other products fail in an hour. With this styling lotion, my style lasts a couple of days and if I need to restyle on the 2nd or 3rd day, I don't need to respray, I just recurl. A go-to for me!
I love using this right before I style. It's not sticky but holds curl really well in my long hair. I also use it in my bangs! They never did what I wanted them to before and the lotion provides just enough to tame them, but not weigh them down. I like to use this in conjunction with other moisturizing products and makes my hair feel healthier and better looking. Clean and Pure
I have been looking for a styling lotion that will keep my hair off my face without crunch and helmet hair. This is the kind! It holds while leaving hair soft, shiny and I can run a comb through it without tearing out strands. And a little goes a long way. I have fallen in love with this brand. great hold for thick & coarse hair
