Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes - Hydrating Reviews

love them!
I use this because it's great at removing MAC and waterproof makeup. It doesn't dry my skin and I feel refreshed after using it. It definitely gets the job done. I don't like the packaging though, occasionally the sticky over comes off and several of the towels dry. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

The only thing I would change is the packaging.
These wipes are wonderful. They're GENTLE enough to use all over your face, even on your waterline, or to remove eye liner from tightlining on your upper rims! I have used these wipes directly on my waterline, and it gets off all of that eyeliner, without stinging my eyes one bit. That's amazing for a product that gets off all of my makeup. It's a powerful enough makeup remover that I don't have to rub hard (which usually results in me losing a couple of my eyelashes), even with the numerous coats of waterproof mascara that I like to pile on! I just gently press the towelette to my lashes (to penetrate the layers of mascara and soften them), and wipe gently a few times (instead of rubbing, I wipe from the base of my lashes to the tips--since the mascara is mostly on the underside of the lashes), and the mascara comes right off, but my lashes stay on my eyes :) I have contacts and these don't bother my eyes at all. The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes do a great job of getting off all facial makeup too, even long-lasting foundation, and sunscreen. That's really important to me because foundations and sunscreens that are designed to be long wearing can be difficult to removeāIf I don't get every last bit off my face before I go to bed, I get awful breakouts! I can use just one towelette to get off a full face of makeup, and then follow that by cleaning my entire face with bar soap. You could use JUST the wipes because they don't leave your face oily, but I've found that double cleansing is key for keeping the acne to a minimum. When I use these wipes (as opposed to other brands, or other makeup removing products), my skin looks really pretty good. While the $7/25 wipes seems a little spendy, it is comparable in price to other drugstore makeup removing wipes. However, you can stock up on them on sale now and then! The only thing that I don't looove about this product is the sticker that closes the product. It doesn't seal very well, so sometimes your wipes get dried out. But I will definitely be repurchasing these. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 8 people said helpful

gets the job done
they remove makeup effectively and dont smell disgusting at all. It does make my skin a little dry afterward so i always have to moisturize. you can remove all of your makeup with 2 or 3 of these (sounds like a lot). — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

They don't work very well on waterproof makeup, but they were a good product. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Just okay
I actually didn't particularly care for this product. It did remove my makeup but I didn't like the residue it left on my face. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

feels oily
These removers are not that thick, and not that wet, however, soft for my eye area. My face feels oily after using this, so I need wash my face with a cleanser afterwards. The storage container is so unnecessary. Maybe if they made these wipes more wet, drying out won't be a problem. Fragrance is pleasant and gentle. For the price there are better wipes out there. — 3 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Best Makeup remover
I absolutely love these wipes. I used to use the Pond's brand, but I will never go back. I have very oily skin and sometimes I break out, so I have to be careful about what I use on my face. Other makeup removers dry out too soon, are way too oily and leave residue behind, or smell bad and sting your eyes. Neutrogena Towelettes do none of these things. I am able to completely remove ALL of the makeup from my face with just ONE wipe- and this includes a few applications of mascara. The plastic container helps keeps the moisture inside (I keep them in the original packaging as well) so I don't have to worry about them drying out. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized, not filmy, tight, or dry- and I haven't experienced any breakouts since I started using them. I would definitely recommend them. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Great!
I like these better than the Garnier. They remove eye makeup also and don't leave skin feeling dry. Definitely one of the better brands I've used for wipes. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

super soft and super fast!
these super soft wipes make it super fast and easy to remove makeup before you hit the sack...thoroughly and easily removes all traces, even eye makeup. the wipe itself is slightly thinner than other wipes out there and my super-sensitive skin feels a little dry after using them...and the real reason i wanted to try these out is because of a testimonial i read in lucky - a woman swore that these removed her blackheads! um...i haven't seen THAT drastic an improvement yet but i'll keep trying... — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Love these
So convenient after a long day or while traveling. No excuses for going to bed with makeup on if you have these. Works great, doesn't leave any residue and even removes eye makeup and mascara very well. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
