Dior 5-Colour Designer All-In-One Artistry Palette Reviews

The World's FINEST Shadows!
Many years ago, I nearly fainted when I purchased Christian Dior's "Designer All-in-One Artistry Palette." Did I actually just pay what I thought I did for ONE item? I'm so very glad I did! That palette led me to purchase nearly every single one which Dior makes. There is no more buttery-soft, exquisite texture when it comes to application and the ability to blend colors flawlessly. The colors are unique, along with the finishes. Some are highly intense, while others are are so pale that they are barely there or have a fascinating holographic appearance. The hues last all day and through the night. Dior is the bar by which I judge every other shadow; no matter how good others are, they aren't Dior. They have a way of making using and wearing eye shadow a heady, wonderful experience, worth every single penny and then some! LOVE THESE! — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love Dior
These eyeshadow sets come in the best looking colors and are very long lasting and made of great quality. A little expensive but worth it — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Splurge that I don't regret
I had this palette in Spring Bouquet two years ago, and currently own more pigmented Night Dust. I must say their packaging is the prettiest one I have ever owned. Love the quit imprints. The pale pink one in Spring Bouquet was a bit too sheer on my skin, but I could still use it as a highlight shade. Since it is the most expensive eyeshadow I have, I don't use on a daily basis. These shadows feel light on my lids, and the lasting power is good. These five-color palettes have different combination. They may not be the most unique colors, but I still find they are good to create a highlight or smokey effect. Pricey but I feel a little bit special and sexy when I use this palette. ;) — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

So-So
Most of their palettes are very shimmery and the color payoff isnt the best. They come on very sheer so you need to use a primer before applying. The color combinations in my opinion arent very practical, but do-able.. They do last pretty long though throughout the day. I think for getting 5 eyeshadows its a good value if you use all 5 of the colors. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Too Sheer
I have tried Pink Idol, Incognito & Mystic Jade. The colors in all the palettes are too sheer, even the darkest shades. All the colors tend to look similar when worn on the eyes, and it's difficult to create any depth or to use the darkest color to line the eyes. I only kept Mystic Jade because the makeup artist used this on me & showed how to apply it. She lined my lids with a dark brown eyeliner before using the darkest shadow over it, then the grey in the crease, and mixed the green and pink as highlighter. The green, pink & aqua were all sheer colors & can only be used as highlighters so it's like getting 3 highlighters in one compact. The look worked for me so I kept this palette, but returned Pink Idol & Incognito. The colors look beautiful in the compact but could definitely use more pigment, especially with the darker colors. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Fashionista's Treasure
Rock it chic and sophisticated with the Dior five shade palette. A rich, highly pigmented powder eyeshadow set that manifests many different looks and combinations. The one set back? It may dust particles onto your face if you overload your brush so tap it out before applying and voila! instant dramatic effect and expression. Because these colors are so vibrant, I'd recommend them for evening wear and the more neutral tones during day. Let's not act like we're clubbing in our cubicles while furnishing expense reports, all right? Unless no one's looking. Skipping through, the price scanned is a bit on the deeper end but it's been almost seven months and I'm not even halfway through any of the shades. Grab one, you may just be impressed. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

so awesome
i have this palette in "stylish move" and i love it. i have green eyes and slightly red skin (i'm a pink caucasion person) and these colors bring out the green without making my eyes look red. they go on super smooth and are very easy to blend. they also have a lot of color!! the darkest color is very true to the color in the palette (doesn't just look dark when applied). i love that they all go together so well and there are so many combinations to wear. i use this everyday and can even use it to go out, so it is definitely worth the money (and the colors stay all day even when i don't use primer!). overall, great! would have been 10 stars, but price knocked it down by one. still worth it! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

This palette is perfect if you don't possess the art of blending. The eye shadows are soft and not extremely pigmented which makes the application mistake proof. I think you can totally find cheaper alternatives out there, though. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Dior No More
I bought 2 of these full price $56.00 as I wanted high quality eye shadow in sets. Both fell apart (the little color pocket came out of one; the glittery shadow crumbled). This was within a month of owning and using only a FEW times. I can't spend $$$ on make up that falls apart. I switched to Urban Decay and Benefit. I expect it to last at least a year. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
