This is a bit heavier than many leave-ins I've tried, so I would recommend it for pretty dry, thick hair. It absolutely gives my hair added moisture without weighing it down or making it greasy. I use about 2 dime size dollops scrunched throughout my hair. All the oils really deliver! Really cheap and does a great job! This really works, and a little goes a long way. Smooth a little bit of this on your ends and you're good to go! Not for me! I bought this product based on the reviews and the brand of course, but I'm very dissapointed. If you have to deal with frizz this is not for you, IT DOES NOT TAME FRIZZ! after using it, my hair was a frizzy mess, it looked dry, so I applied a little more and then my hair looked greasy, all weighted down and dull... I had high hopes for this based on the reviews. But it made my hair feel like straw for some reason? I notice that people seem to love it or it dries their hair out. I'm wondering if somehow this product goes bad if it's on the shelf too long? Don't know. But instead of making my hair soft, smooth, and silky as promised, it made my hair feel coarse. I was pretty bummed about this, especially as I had to drive to a store out of my way to get it since it's so hard to find (and now I have to go back out of my way to return it - way inconvenienced!) I tried this product on damp hair before blow-drying, damp hair allowing to air-dry, and dry hair. It always came out the same. I found this when I googled leave-ins for relaxed hair. Before that I didn't even know that Neutrogena made hair products. It's a bit pricey for such a small bottle, but you only need a little bit at a time.
