in comparison to a lot of other glosses this one is pretty darn good. It depends on how much I use. If I use too much, my hair look very unnatural and greasy. I also tried John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Satin Shine Finishing Creme, and this Glosser seems to be more greasy than Finishing Creme. This is a great product that is affordable and everyone should own it. You use this after you squeeze out the excess moisture from your hair - like frizz ease serum. This works much better for me, maybe the thicker texture? It has glimmer in the gel and my hair really shines after I use this product. I started using this a few years ago when they first came out with the Brilliant Brunette line. It does everything it claims - leaves hair soft and incredibly shiny with subtle definition. It enhances my layers without making my hair look chunky. and it stays all day. I can reapply if necessary but rarely have to. On really humid days, I add a bit extra midday to keep the frizz down but it does not take much.
