It's not bad for a mascara

I'm a mascara addict so I've tried tons of mascaras, from department store brands to drugstore brands. I found this mascara was good, but nothing extraordinary. It wore well and I don't have a problem with raccoon eyes or flaking with this mascara. I don't think the brush is amazing or the formula either, but if you want a good solid mascara, this works well. It's good for every day use. I was disappointed

Even after I followed the application instructions exactly, my lashes looked really wimpy. This mascara seems very thin which surprised me since I figured that the Step 1 conditioning treatment would plump things up a bit but my lashes do not have any extra volume/thickness at all. The one thing I do like about this product is that it gives a nice curl to my lashes but the lack of thickening power is just too disappointing.

Gives me great lenght!

This is my favorite mascara. The 1st step really ensures that its going to give you longer lashes. You just have to take your time. The black portion of the mascara went dry on me but the white stuff still goes on fine. So I just sweep on another black mascara. I think Im long over due for a new Double Extend's mascara. It does do its job though. It makes my lashes super long. My eye lashes touch my eyebrows no joke.

Good for Lengthening

Mascara is one of those products that's hard to find your perfect match. You know all the qualities you want in one, you just can't ever find one you're truly in love with. Many of them boast the qualities you look for, only once you actually try them, you find they fail. Am I right? Over the past few weeks, I've been testing out the new L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara ($10.99). And you know ...read morewhat? Not bad! This one uses "beauty tubes technology" to lengthen lashes and I did find this happening. The first step is to use the white end of the tube (and it actually applies as white!) to sort of nourish, condition and act as the "base coat." Next, you use the red end, which holds the actual mascara (so you're really not getting as much product as you normally would, which is a con). The mascara itself is not so bad, but I can't say it lengthened as much as I expected. I've used L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara in the past and found just as great of results. The two-in-one is a little awkward as well - I'm right-handed, so I found myself switching hands a lot! I don't think this mascara's bad if length is what you want, I just think it could have more qualities than just that. Why can't a mascara be everything to me? Does it only have to lengthen or thicken or curl? I'm still searching for a jack-of-all-trades mascara!

I am impressed!

I'm not usually one to go for products that have any kind of gimmick about them, because I'm always concerned that it'll turn out to only be a reason for a cosmetics company to charge more. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. I was afraid that the base coat would make my lashes look super clumpy, but it dried quickly and the mascara went on smooth. It definitely w...read moreorks - I have long lashes to begin with, but the mascara totally brought them out even more. I didn't curl them, but I probably should for the best look. It didn't flake on me at all, and it really wasn't that hard to remove. The product claims to come off with only water, but I find that it doesn't come off all the way with only water. And the "beauty tubes" (I think that's a creepy term) tend to stick all over my face. overall, a great mascara.

Not as good as I was expecting...

after seeing the ads, I decided to try this. sadly, I'm old enough to have known better!! I don't see a discernable difference and I find that it clumps my lashes and gives them a weird ball-like effect at the tip. certainly does not look like I'm wearing falsh lashes which is what the model is clearly wearing. The color on it's own is fine. so i'll probably continue to use it just on its own.

Loved it

I have always been a huge fan of L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, and have been using it faithfully for 10 years or so and have turned all my friends and family onto it, until I received my free L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara. This mascara is so cool and works really well. It made my eyelashes look much longer then any other mascara I have tried and I can't wait to turn all my friends and family onto it. YEAH!!!!

Great mascara that works!

This $10 mascara is a little more pricey than your typical drugstore mascara, but it actually works! My lashes were lengthened dramatically and this mascara can easily be worn everyday. These pictures don't do any justice. I can honestly say that the impact of this mascara can be compared to Exceptionnel de Chanel Intense Volume and Curl Mascara. $10 - L'Oreal vs. $28 - Chanel. I'd prefer L'Oreal....read more I love also how it's very easy to remove. All you need is warm water for mascara removal, the tubes wash off like little fibers - a separate eye makeup remover isn't needed. My only drawback for this product is that it does tend to clump at times...use a lash comb and you're good to go!

So So

I'm a product junkie, I'll admit it. I'm lucky to have very long lashes and I was intrigued by this product. I've used it now for a week just to "make sure" and I'm not 100% in love. It makes my lashes kind of stiff and hard, long? Yes, lush? Not so much. I ADORE L'Oreal Voluminous mascara and I think I'll stick to that. But it's not a bad product, just not for me.

Almost as good as Diorshow - excellent value

I had a L'Oreal makeover at Bangalore Central mall in India. This was the mascara the makeup artist used, and I was impressed with the result. This makes your lashes look nearly as good as Diorshow Blackout.
