I really wanted to like it but...
I tried out a sample of this product. PROS: Nice color match to my NC30ish skin tone (light-medium). Light coverage. CONS: Smells like sunscreen. Feels like sunscreen. Leaves my skin shiny like sunscreen (immediately after applying). Stays fairly shiny all day (not good when combined with my already oily skin). Overall, I'd pass on this product. love this!
i love this moisturizer! i use it as my foundation. it provides medium coverage, which is excellent for a tinted moisturizer! it CAN get greasy if you apply too much and it may clog pores, but i find if i use a setting powder, i prevent greasiness. i highly recommend. its worth the money. and i am medium tone. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

It's true what everyone said about this being greasy.. And the coverage isn't amazing. It's not bad but I wish there was a tad more. Benefit is expensive
I really like how this product feels on your face, its not heavy or greasy. I feel that benefit is solo expensive though! I mean $30 for moisterizer is a bit too much. It looks dark at first but seems to sink in more after a few minutes and looks great! worst tinted moisturizer!
i've tried a number of tinted moisturizers (bobbi brown, laura mercier, the balm, stila, urban decay, etc) and this was by far the worst one. it was not oil free, the metal tube it is in is simply terrible packaging, and it made me break out. to boot - the color doesn't even really blend with my skin, while the "lite" version of it is too light for me. when i told the associate at the benefit counter, he said that you rebel wasn't making my skin oily, but rather giving me a "dewy" finish. uh, kiss my butt - i can tell the difference between dewy and oily, thanks very much. :) i will never buy this again, and would not reccommend it to anyone... unless you happen to be already fairly dark, like nc42-ish and have really dry dry skin. this product has made me hesitant to purchase any benefit face products at all... :( — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

AWESOME!!!
I find this product amazing! I have oily/acne prone skin and this product makes my skin look good! It gives me a little tan and it covers up my blemishes and acne scars. Most of the time I use this as my foundation. Yes it's expensive but it lasts me for a really long time and it works!!! Color is off

A nice tinted moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin.
Benefit cosmetics You Rebel was surprisingly deeply moisturising and beautifully pigmented. For a tinted moisturiser designed to fit all shades, You Rebel really delivers. When I applied it to my face the moisturiser was absorbed quickly and blended really well, evening out tone and neutralising discolourations. I didn't need any concealer! Coverage lasted all day and did not leave a greasy film as some tinted moisturisers often do. Although I only applied a pea sized amount I feel that this moisturiser can be layered to achieve a medium coverage.
