Nice Matte Finish
The powder keeps me shine free. It works even better than more expensive blot powders i've tried. I will say however that I have yet to find a powder that I don't have to reapply all day long. I have extremely oily skin and I have to blot almost ten times a day. This product did however give me the most matte finish iv'e ever gotten from a blot powder. I would say this product is even better then the extremely expensive MAC blot powder. Great Shine-free Powder!
I really like this powder. This is awesome at controlling the shiny face I get everyday at work. I always buy two at a time so I have one at home and one with me at all times. I've tried many powders including MAC and Clinique, but although I liked them...this makes more sense for me to buy because it does what I need it to and it saves me loads of $$! I can't complain. I use a brush to apply...read more in the morning after my foundation and then use the applicator during the day. I would say this is definitely worth trying. I've been using it for 10 years and I'm only 26
I doubt I'll ever buy another shine-control powder as long as this one's being manufactured. I have dropped about 100 compacts, shattering them and their powder inside, ruining the lining inside my purses - so yes, the packaging could be more shatter-proof, but this is the best shine-control powder out there for the money, in my opinion. Not bad for the price
Maybelline products are usually great quality, especially at lower prices, and this compact is among them. The powder goes on evenly and smoothly, and I did notice a difference in shine control. While this is perfect for the summer, I don't really recommend it for the winter when skin tends to be dry. Too chalky
This powder helps control oil, but that is the only redeeming quality it has. The texture is terribly chalky, so it doesn't look natural at all. I have ivory, and the color is a little light, even for my fair skin. MAC Blot Powder is so far superior that even the low price of this powder isn't enough to make it worth purchasing again.
