Poor Oil Control; Poor Packaging
This product is a "no, thank you" product for me! Not only was the packaging reminiscent of the 90's IMO, but I didn't see any oil control as a result. I bought this in Golden and was looking for a compact that I could toss in my purse and use for touch ups (after blotting sheets) throughout the day. I found this powder to be a bit cakey, even with the blotting sheets first; it brought me back to ...read morethe 90's when people didn't use sheets and only used powder, and makeup was cakey and unnatural looking. Can you tell I just wasn't all that pleased with this product? :) It just didn't work for me. The color was spot on but it didn't work well for what I needed it for. On the plus side, I have used this as a setting powder with a brush, and although I didn't experience oil control with this, I did like the way the powder looked and felt. In other words, I would suggest applying this powder only with a brush and lightly, to avoid that cakey, overdone appearance. If your skin is oily like mine, I think you will be disappointed with the lack of any real oil control ingredients. I am going to try the ELF HD Mattifying Balm and see if that works, and also Neutrogena Shine Control Pressed Powder. Will never stop buying it!!!

needs to be packaged better

Good Sheer Powder
I am sad this is only being sold in a single shade shade now (in Soft Cameo), because it's one of the few sheer, oil blotting pressed powders I have found at the drugstore. I actually like the slim compact, that isn't a bulky, annoying to use split pan like most powders now are. Not quite...
To start with my skin probably sets the world record for oil production. The color I got was a little too light and it looked a little powdery all over. The "shine control" was pretty good, nothing lasts forever, but the reason I won't buy again is the package! It sat in my closet and after only a few uses the lid broke off! Shine Free Powder
My skin is not oily, so I probably didn't need this specific powder. I was looking for something really cheap and this is what I got. It make my skin nice and smooth, but did not last even half the day. I felt like it just disappeared. It does cover up light dark spots under my eyes, so that was a nice bonus. break out!
i have very oil skin, and when i put this on, my skin did look matte, and stayed mat for a few hours. it gave my skin a funny dry feeling, though. by the end of the day, my skin was probably less oily than normal, but i had a few new blemishes that were most likely caused by this product. overall, just dont bother with this.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Best. Compact. Ever.
For me, of course. This is that one thing I can't leave without. It does have talc, which is probably the reason for the "chalky" reviews, but I haven't ever had that problem. If you have oily skin, this is for you. I get Ivory (I've been "Ivory" since middle school when I started using this!) and yes, it is VERY fair, but it has sheer to no coverage. It's simply a shine contro...read moreller, so I use other powder foundations and blushes and all that good stuff at home and use this to touch up my pesky T zone. its ok
