  Turned my hair carmel

  I recently bought L'Oreal Paris Dream blonde. My hair is brown and it had a picture on the box that shows a dirty blone. No my hair turned almost orange. If it is not ment to be used by people with brown hair why dont the state that on the box or instructions? I would not have wasted my money and went to a professional. ...Oh and it basically only dyed my roots and didnt do anything for the rest of my hair and i followed directions. And have dyed my own hair lots of times before and never had such a terrible experience. July 11, 2008, 8:57 am

  This stuff is great!

  I have used L'Oreal hair color for years. It does the job I need it to do -- it covers the gray, yet the blonde shade (9 1/2 NB) is never brassy and never leaves my hair feeling like straw. It's not complicated to use, it doesn't cost me a fortune like hair salon treatments do. I don't need to try any other hair color, I am... well satisfied with this. And I get lots of compliments.   Most natural

  I am young and have molto gray hair. I do not want to lose my original color but I do want to stay younger a little while longer. This product covers beautifully and offers colors very close to natural hair color. I use dark ash brown and unlike some hair colors (that turn your hair black when going that dark) it gives you ...all the dark you need without going red. If it weren't for my grays you wouldn't even be able to tell my roots were coming in after 5 weeks time. March 14, 2008, 6:51 pm

  Best Home hair color ever

  I started dying my hair in my very early 20's cause i started getting grey. I used a different brand then and it was horrible. The dye covering my grey appeared GREEN under fluorescent lighting, my hair faded to grey, red (from the sun) and dark brown(my natural color). It was such a horrible experience that for about 10-...15 years I went thru the expense of having my hair professionally dyed in a salon. I HAVE NOW BEEN USING L'OREAL PREFERENCE FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS (AM 60 NOW)IN SOFT BLACK, NO. 3. IT'S AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I AM NOW CONSIDERED OVER 80% GREY AND IT COVERS THE GREY PERFECTLY. LASTS ABOUT 6-8 WEEKS - DOES NOT FADE OUT. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENS IS THAT MY NEW GREY HAIRS START TO APPEAR. BY THE WAY, IT COMES WITH AN EXCELLENT CONDITIONER THAT YOU CAN USE FOR MANY APPLICATIONS. December 11, 2007, 1:26 pm

  Great for consistent blond color

  I have used Loreal Preference 9 1/2B Lightest Natural Blond hair color for about 5 years now - it consistently gives me a great color. I have tried other shades or brands and this one works the best. It lasts about 5 weeks until it grows out. December 7, 2007, 6:32 am

  IF YOU WANT GREAT AS EXPECTED RESULTS!

  I have used many, many haircolor brands; however I now stay exclusively with Preference by L'Oreal. The results are predictable and there are no surprises. My hair is shiny, healthy and "normal" appearing just as though I had done absolutely nothing to it. Quite a few other hair colors place down a coating on h...air which changes the texture and not always for the better. Preference just takes your own hair's best features and highlights them.   Best haircolor - don't even bother with other brands

  I color for fun so I can't speak to grays (not yet at least!) and I have used a few different shades of this. Anything near my natural hair color - brown, doesn't fade and looks nice even after 4 weeks. No other brand was this good. The only minus I have is that I chose a copper shade and the color is fine but not really... coppery - but again, I colored over already colored hair so who knows? Could just be my hair. Every other brand fades & pretty quickly. It's truly NOT worth saving like $2 - $3. December 22, 2007, 2:42 pm

  I am worth it!

  I really like this one. I often try others , and alot of coupons on them, but this one is always even, stays longer, and gives hair more life and bounce, which I need. I used to only trust a professional with my hair, but with this product I feel confident that my hair is safe. I hope you try it too. My family already knows... this, but they aren't old enough that htey color their hair yet :-) October 26, 2007, 11:14 am

  Excellent Color - Even my hairdresser loves my color!

  This is so easy to use! The color is very natural. ( My hairdresser always says how beautiful it is! ) The conditioner keeps my hair very soft and healthy. Covers gray pretty well, too. Very good and inexpensive. I think the results are as good as any salon coloring I've had ( and I've gone to some really expensive sa...lons )! October 25, 2007, 12:07 pm

  Did not cover my white hair
