  Best Home hair color ever

  I started dying my hair in my very early 20's cause i started getting grey. I used a different brand then and it was horrible. The dye covering my grey appeared GREEN under fluorescent lighting, my hair faded to grey, red (from the sun) and dark brown(my natural color). It was such a horrible experience that for about 10-... It was such a horrible experience that for about 10-15 years I went thru the expense of having my hair professionally dyed in a salon. I HAVE NOW BEEN USING L'OREAL PREFERENCE FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS (AM 60 NOW)IN SOFT BLACK, NO. 3. IT'S AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I AM NOW CONSIDERED OVER 80% GREY AND IT COVERS THE GREY PERFECTLY. LASTS ABOUT 6-8 WEEKS - DOES NOT FADE OUT. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENS IS THAT MY NEW GREY HAIRS START TO APPEAR. BY THE WAY, IT COMES WITH AN EXCELLENT CONDITIONER THAT YOU CAN USE FOR MANY APPLICATIONS. December 11, 2007, 1:26 pm

  Best haircolor - don't even bother with other brands

  I color for fun so I can't speak to grays (not yet at least!) and I have used a few different shades of this. Anything near my natural hair color - brown, doesn't fade and looks nice even after 4 weeks. No other brand was this good. The only minus I have is that I chose a copper shade and the color is fine but not really... The only minus I have is that I chose a copper shade and the color is fine but not really coppery - but again, I colored over already colored hair so who knows? Could just be my hair.   IF YOU WANT GREAT AS EXPECTED RESULTS!

  I have used many, many haircolor brands; however I now stay exclusively with Preference by L'Oreal. The results are predictable and there are no surprises. Quite a few other hair colors place down a coating on hair which changes the texture and not always for the better. Preference just takes your own hair's best features and highlights them.   I am worth it!

  I really like this one. I often try others , and alot of coupons on them, but this one is always even, stays longer, and gives hair more life and bounce, which I need. I used to only trust a professional with my hair, but with this product I feel confident that my hair is safe. I hope you try it too. My family already knows...   Most natural

  I have used L'Oreal hair color for years. It does the job I need it to do -- it covers the gray, yet the blonde shade (9 1/2 NB) is never brassy and never leaves my hair feeling like straw. It's not complicated to use, it doesn't cost me a fortune like hair salon treatments do. I don't need to try any other hair color, I am...   If you just need an all over color, you can do it yourself with this brand. I found the texture of the dye was perfect because it was cream, it didn't drip or run like many of the other dyes I have tried and found that the color did develop well like other L'Oreal brands I've tried on my black Asian hair.   Great Product

  I think that Preference by L'Oreal is one of the best perment hair color on the market. It is easy to apply to your hair and the color is even and true. Your hair will feel silky and clean after the color is washed out. There are many colors to choose from so you should be able to find the color you want. April 29, 2008, 8:09 pm

  Great color

  This hair dye covers great with no dripping and no stains around the hairline. I wish the length of time was a bit longer with the red dye, but it starts turning brassy and fades within a few weeks.   Color Lasts

  I use #5 1/2 and the color does last as long as I need it to. Now only if I could keep my roots from showing so soon. 3 - 4 weeks and I recolor because my hair grows so fast. I also love the conditioner that comes with this and the price is good too. April 19, 2008, 8:24 pm
