Just The Right Consistency to Wear Under Makeup

Lancome UV Expert 20 contains Mexoryl SX. According to dermatologists, Mexoryl SX is the most effective UVA-blocking ingredient currently available. It has been used in Canada and Europe since 1993 but approved by the FDA for use in the U.S. in July 2006. This is one of my four sunscreens that I pack in my beach bag. It has just the right consistency to wear under makeup.

nothing special

i found that this product was difficult to blend into my skin and it made my skin look slightly white. it doesn't really have the yucky sunscreen smell to it which is nice. i have use it on my body, but i would never attempt putting this on my face because i keep my face sunscreens and body sunscreens separate (i had a friend that got horrible, cystic acne breakouts from using body sunscreen on his face and i personally wouldn't wanna risk it).

I don't care for it

It turned me into a ghost!! The lady at the counter claims she hasn't seen anyone turn white with it but I find that hard to believe. I also found the product did not readily absorb into my skin but rather had to be massaged in for quite awhile. The whiteness also did not fade but remained even hours later. As for sun protection - I'm not sure but I won't wear it for how white it makes my skin.

a nightmare

after using this product the second time, my whole face became red, swollen, and FULL of PIMPLES. It was soooo bad that I had to see a dermatoligist and apply a steroid lotion to get red of them. I would NOT recommend Lancome uv expert to anyone.

Mexoryl - next great thing

Mexoryl is the first great breakthrough in sunscreen that I've seen in a long time. After years of lifeguarding and applying (and re-applying) sunscreen, I am so excited about this. Mexoryl not only blocks both UVA and UVB rays, but also does not break down like most sunscreen ingredients do! You don't have to worry about whether your sunscreen has stopped working. We all need to be aware of the sun's potential to damage our skin. Grab up this product!

This Sunscreen Rocks by Priveleged1983

LOVE THIS

I would never step foot out of my door without applying my sunscreen. I have been going to a dermatologist for two years and they have made me a believer in sunscreen. This one is the best for me.

Worth the $

One of the few sunscreens sold in the U.S. that contains Mexoryl SX. (The other is La-Roche Posay Athelios SX.) The formula is thick and rich, but doesn't make your skin feel greasy, oily or heavy (no breakouts at all!). All in all, it's actually quite lightweight on skin. It works for face and body with a matte finish. The scent is light and pleasant...so you can wear it daily without worrying...read more about it interfering with the scent of your perfume. I hope they make this with a higher SPF soon.
