Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask Reviews

For This Price, You Can't Beat It
Usually a fan of pricer Aveda products, you can't beat Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask for deep conditioning benefits. As with any deep conditioning product, I wash my hair, slather on the conditioner, and leave it on overnight. This one conditions, repairs, and leaves your hair feeling silky at a much most cost-effective price. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Fixed the Fried
I had a bad experience with some bad store bought hair dye and let's just say I thought I was going to have to chop my hair off. I tried a bunch of homemade hair conditioning masks and nothing worked. I ran across this and LOVED it. My hair was soft and silky and didn't look like I fried and Dyed my hair. The only thing with it is that it says to use a Small amount on your hair for upwards of 5 mins. A small amount (especially if you have long thick hair) is nothing. You do need to use a generous amount based on how thick and long your hair is. Otherwise this stuff is fantastic! Definitely something I will repurchase! — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worth the repeat purchase
I somehow "inherited" a jar of this product after my mom passed away 2 1/2 years ago (my family doesn't like to waste anything), and it sat on the edge of my bathtub. I kept meaning to try it... I finally stumbled on the reviews for this product, and they were pretty good, so I finally tried it: Especially for the price, I think this is a really good product. I don't consider it a hair mask so much as a good deep conditioner for extra, dry, and color treated hair. It leaves my hair soft and manageable without weighing it down, whether I use it on the ends or roots. BTW, I have rather voluminous but fine textured hair. I am big on alternating hair products, but I have been using this 4-5 x/week without any noticeable build-up. I used up my mom's old product, and made a second purchase. — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Amazing
If you have dry, damaged hair, try this. If you follow the instructions, you will notice an immediate difference. However, I like to apply it and do something for half an hour then rinse it out with cold water. My hair is no longer frizzy or dry. — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

ok
This worked pretty good on my hair. It felt softer and helped control my hair a little bit more. I would leave it on my hair the whole time I was in the shower, but I wasn't as impressed with it as I am with other products. I have thick coarse hair so only few products impress me :) — 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Hydrates hair
Tried this mask for my extremely frizzy and dry hair, while I was not impressed with it, it does help to bring some moisture in and lasts for about a day for me. It is not the best but not the worst either, just not sure if i will buy it again, since Neutrogena is still practicing their tests on animals, according to cruelty-free guide i looked at on 'Peta' website. Neutrogena does have good skin care products, I just wish they were cruelty free =( — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for the $
I use this product every time I wash my hair. It’s the only drug store conditioner I’m faithful to. Great for fighting frizzy hair in humid climates! — 11 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great product!
I have tried nearly every deep conditioner in the drug store (I can't afford to buy from a salon right now). I have coarse, dry, very thick, and naturally curly hair that is color treated and heat damaged. I have never been able to find a product that helps my over-processed dry and brittle hair... until now. Neutrogena has really outdone themselves with the Triple Moisture deep conditioning mask! All this time I thought they could only do skin care... boy was I wrong! After shampooing and using a tiny bit of my regular conditioner, I smoothed this through my hair from approximately two inches from the root all the way down through the ends. I immediately noticed that my hair seemed to have a silkier feel to it. I left it on for the allotted five minutes while I shaved and washed my face. I used lukewarm water to rinse. My hair was holding a TON more moisture than usual, already! I towel dried my hair (as lightly as possible since my hair is typically prone to breakage), and combed through it. This is the first time in several years that I have been able to get a comb through my wet hair with no tangles! I could see a significant reduction in breakage almost instantly. I began to blow dry my hair, as usual, just running my fingers lightly through it. I try to get it about 80% dry before using a brush. I was totally shocked to see that my hair was actually already looking rather nice. I am a naturally curly girl that HATES her curls normally and always straightens my hair. My curls were actually moist and defined! I couldn't believe it!! I decided just to leave it curly, which is something I have not done in at least a year. My hair looks wonderful! It is soft and shiny! I can actually touch my curls without them crunching now! My ends no longer look dry and straw-like, but rather smooth and supple. This formula is amazing! The mask itself is very rich and creamy with a lovely smell. This is, hands down, the best investment I have ever made! Totally and completely worth the $4.86 I paid for it at the drug store! After just one use I noticed a monumental difference in the texture and overall appearance of my hair. I cannot wait to see how much better it looks after several uses! I highly recommend this product to anyone with dry, damaged, and over-processed hair! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
