When I first read the packaging information about this product, I immediately thought about the Dior Capture Totale serum. Based on initial reading, I assumed this would treat the opposite and cater to dry/combination skin types. Upon actually using it, I was wrong. I have SUPER oily skin--so oily I joke that you could fry an egg on it. I was worried that this might promote excess oil production (I do use a moisturizer already). If you have ever used the Dior Capture Totale, it feels very similar when you feel it and how it absorbs. What this serum does is VERY different than Dior. Yes, both promote anti-aging and boost product power, but this serum gives you a plumper, smoother look. The days I wore this, I got a lot of complements from people because they thought my skin looked like porcelain--this is VERY welcoming considering I was born with deep, massive pores (Imagine an orange-peel texture). Also noticeable was that my skin did NOT produce excess oil like I was expecting to. In fact, I feel like I produced a noticeable amount LESS than I usually do (I had fewer touch-ups). In addition, like the packaging says, this product has made my skin noticeably stronger within the few days I've used it. I have a little bit less redness from my rosacea and my skin has been less irritated and brighter looking. What I love about this is that this costs about half as much as the Dior serum for the same volume. Like I've said, this Superstart serum is great for plumping and strengthening skin, and the Dior Capture Totale is great for detoxifying and clarifying the skin. The only thing is unfortunate is since I have big pores that suck everything up instantly, I have to use two pumps in order to put enough on my skin and I feel like I'm using the bottle up quickly.

I love this product

Goes on as great, helps hold in moisturizer and gets rid of the grease before applying foundation. The name fits it gives your skin a superstart. Great booster and primer. Easy step for flawless skin. This is a must have item.

This is an amazing product. I am using it in combination with Prevage. This is a great product. Leaving my skin renewed and silky smooth. I will be using this for years to come.

Renew & Reboot!

I love using this under my moisturizer. Doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residue. I've started to understand the need for quality skin care and I'm so happy I'm using this now as part of my daily routine. Skin looks nourished and happy!

Smells nice, good concept, but Not for sensitive skin

I read the ingredients and there is fragrance towards the middle of the list, which means it has Alot or more than enough to make sensitive skin, itch, rashy and inflamed. I instead have been using this on my chest area since I have a higher tolerance there and on the back of my hands. So far I do like it. now do I think it's worth the price? Not at all, largely due to the fact it has a lot of fragrance and it's obvious from the smell. As a whole in general fragrance in skincare is not good for the skin.

Beautiful skin

I always feel radiant after I apply this light weight serum. It hydrates my skin and subtly evens out my skin tone. It also absorbs super quickly so I can apply my moisturizer shortly after.

Nice gel cream, but not a serum so why the extra step?

A nice gel cream, moisturized well, almost didn't need anything on top of it. I'm not sure what it is supposed to do. Not a serum, not a moisturizer... I couldn't really tell it did anything after a week of use day and night. On a plus side, it had nice subtle scent and good slip, my skin did feel hydrated.

Wonder Cream-Worth a Try!

I don't usually spend on high end products but this one I will buying in the future. I'm over 50 with dry skin, luckily not too wrinkled, and the usual aging issues. Within 2 days I saw noticeable results as in no more dry skin at all, none! Smoother, plumper looking skin that the hubby even commented on. Great Stuff!

I have the worst case of combination skin - extremely oily t-zone and dry areas around the beginning of my eyebrows, side of my nose and chin/cheek area. I noticed a difference within 1 week of using Superstart. I applied the product as a first step before my sunblock, and what an improvement! Renewal Boost Indeed

I recently received this product from Total Beauty to review and I was instantly impressed. The packaging is nice and it's easy to dispense. The fragrance is not overbearing and the product is light and goes on smooth. I used this alone and was pleased with the moisturizing properties, however, by itself I found that I had to reapply a moisture product. One other thing about this product is there is no SPF so it can't be used by itself.
