Shade Flutter 040 of Burt's Bees Lip Shine is my go-to drugstore lipgloss. It feels smooth and not tacky or sticky. It provides a sheer wash of raspberry pink, great by itself or over pink and red lipstick. I wear it all the time, and you can squeeze out only a little and still get great sheer color and shine. You can squeeze out more for a slightly more opaque tint as well. Lip Shine in Blush
I received Burt's Bees Lip Shine in Pucker as a gift when I wasn't using a lot of lip products, let alone Burt's Bees lip products. This totally changed that. These lip shines provide a shiny, glossy look with some color. I don't know about the other shades for sure, but Pucker came off very, very, very, very sheer on my lips. It was more for the wet, shiny look than for any real color pigment...read moreation, and since Pucker looks like one of the deepest colors there, I'm guessing that the whole line is sheer. Nevertheless, it's still a great product, but if you are looking for a lot of color payoff, the Burt's Bees Lip Gloss might be the thing for you. These Lip Shines are a teeny bit sticky, but not overly so that it's annoying. The lasting power is just okay, and when you apply it it doesn't really have much of a scent or taste. It's kind of fruity sweet, but it's very very light and doesn't make that much of a difference.
