One of my favourite highlighters so far...
This highlighter is not a subtle one, for sure, so if you are looking for a subtle, natural glow – this isn’t it. Even though this is a very finely milled powder, it still delivers a very shimmery finish, even when used with a light hand. P...read moreersonally, I reach for this highlighter almost every day, but for a day look, I use it with a fan brush because I find that this way you get the most natural look out of it. I like that this highlighter stays on all day. I don’t know if it’s because it’s milled so finely or if it’s due to specific ingredients in its formula, but if I apply it in the morning, it stays on my face (combination skin) all day. One thing I don’t want to forget to mention, there is a great dupe for this product out there. It is a limited edition so I don’t know for how long it will still be available, but if you are on a budget and are looking for a dupe, get it! It’s “Metal Glam” by “Essence”. These two are almost identical. When I put them side by side I do notice that “Mary-Lou” is milled slightly finer and “Metal Glam” is just a tiny bit more rosy, but when I actually use them I can’t tell the difference apart from the fact that “Metal Glam” doesn’t last as long. For $20 less though, I would definitely go with “Essence” if you don’t own either one of these… :) Overall, I do agree with most reviewers of this product… This is a great highlighter, very versatile and adaptable for any occasion. The only people I wouldn’t recommend this to are the ones who wear very little makeup and prefer an extremely subtle finish when they do. My holy grail highlighter!

Champagne Shimmer

Favorite Highlighter
The biggest reason probably this is my favorite highlighter is because it is the first one I ever got and it was a gift from my sister. But, it is so amazing on top of that. For one thing, I have had it for 2 years and I have barely made a dent in the middle. You need the tiniest bit, and the product has not changed at all. It is definitely a noticeable highlighter, but it does not look chunky or sparkly on the skin. I just very lightly wiggle my brush in the pan and put it on the high points of my face for natural days and then slowly build it for dances or nights out. Works fantastic
Because of how pale I am I do not use this as much if a highlighter. I use it as am eye brighter as it blends really well with my foundation. I find myself using this product a lot when I make tiny mistakes when doing my shadow or liner. It will work as a nice highlighter and will perform in many other ways. My Holy Grail
This highlighter is stunning! My holy grail! It gives you a really nice soft candlelight glow and is very very pretty. A little will go a very long way so use a light hand. only highlighter you need
CULT fav. You have to have heard every single person talk about this product. It is a highlighter/ illuminator..that is perfect for those cheek bones, t-zones, nose, cupids bow, eyebrow arch and anywhere else! It honestly is one of the only highlighters I have in my collection because it is all I need. Great Highlighter but Be Cautious
If you're new to highlighting this stuff can be intense if put on too thick. I prefer powder highlighters to cream because I've had issues with cream highlighters pulling at my other makeup when I try to blend which ruins it.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
