Best stuff around.

I have ultra dark hair and dry shampoos have always left a white residue, leaving it much worse than right before using the product. I use the Batiste for Dark Brown hair and it's a miracle worker. When I spray it on, it looks like I'm putting cocoa powder on my hair. I shake the can, spray it on, leave it for a minute and then use a boar's hair brush to brush out the residue. In between brushes, ...read moreI rinse the brush to remove the residue before brushing again. It seriously makes my hair look almost like it was just washed. This is a great product to use to extend the time between washes by a day or so. It's still no replacement for not washing, but on those super lazy days when I can't be bothered to get up an hour earlier to wash and style my hair, this is a life saver! Not only is it hands-down the best dry shampoo I've ever tried, but it's also one of the cheapest. I get it for about 8 dollars at Ulta. This is a very popular product so I try to stock up on it (especially during buy one get one half off sales) because it tends to sell out quickly.

I love Batiste dry shampoos!!

Ah :] This is the BEST dry shampoo line I've ever used, and I've used many. It's also available in drug stores, which makes it an even better product! I have used the fruity and cherry scent that has the adorable light and dark green packaging with the cherries on it. Yum! To make Batiste even better, they came out with a line for each hair color and they came out with a line for "Brunettes, dark hair" and I am obsessed!! Again, the packaging is adorable-It's like a cheetah print bottle that comes out dark brown. Reading the bottle I learned that you can use it in between root touch ups (genius) but I use it to clean my hair and freshen the scent. I part my hair in different parts, shake the bottle, spray on my root, rub it in, and voila, all clean! The ONLY thing I would say about this dry shampoo that is a little annoying is a dark brown residue does stain my finger when I rub it in but I can understand why; it's like I'm applying straight color to my scalp, so I can see why some residue would come off. Still rating this my favorite dry shampoo and a 10!

Love it!

I love this dry shampoo! I bought it in two scents: floral and coconut. Let me just say that besides letting me stretch my blow out by a few days, the coconut scent is ridiculous (in a great way)! It is the only one that did not give my hair that nasty look. One tiny little caveat is that I have to spray a shine serum because well my second/third day hair just looks dull (not because of Batiste). I still highly recommend this to anyone who wants to use dry shampoo. Make sure to keep one in your gym bag!

Not Better than Klorane, But Cheaper (2nd Best)

Batiste smells really good - that's probably the first thing that you will notice about this dry shampoo and the most memorable part of it. It also works REALLY well...and if I hadn't used Klorane first, then this would have been my number one. Batiste's product works very well and smells amazing (I tried a few of the scents)...so why not the perfect 10? Because a big test for any dry shampoo for me is the lasting power. They all do really well at first (unless I can't get them out of my black hair)...but do they last? So far, Klorane has no scent but lasted until THE NEXT DAY and Batiste smelled ridiculously amazing, had promising results at first but then fell flat by the end of the day. Also, this item has a bit more build up and causes the scalp to feel dry and oil (if that's possible) at the same time. It's a decent dry shampoo and a great option for the difference in price. With that being said, yes, I do recommend this product.

Can't go wrong

I started my dry shampoo quest with other brands and was always finding myself disappointed in them. I had heard great reviews of Batisste dry shampoos but just thought it was gimicky and it wouldn't really work for my hair type. On a whim, i decided to try it and oh my goodness my life has not been the same since. haha! This stuff really works, it was what i had been looking for all my life! I h...read moread dark brown hair and just make sure i really work it in to not get any white cast. I have only tried the floral scent which is pleasant and it fades away to much ligher scent. The only thing is that if you use too much of it, it really matifys my hair but I will take that any day over oily hair. To make it less matte i run through it with the blow dryer a little and i get some of the shine back. Love this stuff, and its totally affordable.

Best one out there

I wash my hair every other day and use a dry shampoo on the days in between. This is the BEST I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. I have dark brown, fine, straight hair thay tends to get oily in the roots and in my bangs by the second day. It does get rid of the oil without leaving anything from the spray behind, and while it does go on with a bit of a white cast, I've found that if I massage ...read moreit in, then brush vigorously, it goes away. I do also hit my bangs with some baby powder, but this keeps the grease away for the day. There are cheaper ones out there, but the ones I've tried totally don't work, leave my hair wet and still greasy, etc. The price point on this one is reasonable for the effectiveness, and I really just need to stop shopping around, as I'm disappointed every time.

Alright, but builds up

This stuff is okay but not amazing, certainly not the best I've used. That distinction actually, believe it or not, belongs to suave. My biggest beef with his product is that it builds up really easily. My stylist thought my hair was dirty when he washed it because all of this came streaming out. It was a lot easier to tell because I was wearing the brunette version. Yuck! I promptly gave the stuff away.

Effective

This dry shampoo definitely soak up oil, refreshes, and volumizes hair. I also love the smell of the fresh scent one, so it also works like hair perfume for me. You also don't need a lot and get so much for your money, which is awesome. My only gripe is that this stuff will leave a white cast on any hair color: my hair is a lighter brown and if I spray this close to my head, I look like I sprayed ...read morewhite hair dye in my hair. However, if you follow the directions on the can and spray it from farther away, you will be fine. All in all, this product has changed my hair routine for the better.

HG dry shampoo

I love this batiste dry shampoo. This is a savior for my fine hair that gets really greasy in the crown area. I have used this many times and I totally love this. This lifts up the hair in my crown area, gives it a nice volume while keeping my hair smooth. This smells really fresh and I totally love it. I will repurchase this.
