Spray and Go
I was thrilled to get the chance to review this product. At first glance it seemed like a really novel idea, but I am usually skeptical of gimmicks, so I was eager to see what this product had to offer. When I got it, I first noticed that the can was slim so it fit comfortably in my hand, and was a sunny yellow color, which I liked. I also liked that the usage instructions were clear and showed a woman in the diagram, which made me feel like this products is especially for the ladies, which pleased me. When I tried this spray for the first time, my first words were "Oh my!" I liked the amount dispensed by the can-- not too thick, and not too little, and as I rubbed the lotion into my (normally extremely, Saraha-dry) skin, I could immediately feel it soaking up the moisture. My skin instantly felt silkier and smoother, and not the least bit greasy. The scent of the lotion is nice and light-- and you can actually smell the distinct scent of the shea butter, which is one of my favorite skin care ingredients. The moisture-giving qualities of this product seemed to last about 4 hours-- not as long as I would like, but I do have very dry skin, so I would still say that it exceeded the length of time a normal body lotion would last. More importantly though, it absorbed quickly, so I could dress right away and not have to worry about mussing my clothes. I especially liked using it right after a shower, as it really seemed to help lock in moisture and keep my skin extra smooth. My skin is also extremely sensitive, and I am happy to report that it did not irritate my skin in any way. If anything, I found it to have a soothing effect. My favorite thing about this lotion being a spray is that you can apply it directly to your skin. I hate having to take a puddle of lotion in the palm of my hand so that I can apply it all over, so the spray was a lovely, non-messy and new way to put it on. I definitely used this more than a conventional lotion, largely in part as to how easy it was to apply. I would recommend this product to anyone, especially ladies with dry skin. It is a step up from an average drug store lotion, and I truly am impressed that Vaseline put out this great product. My only concerns about it would be the price-- I would be willing to pay up to five dollars for this product,and it seems like it could be a little expensive. I also wish the spray were non-aerosol, as I know those types of cans are not good for the environment. Still, in spite of all that, I was impressed and recommend this product. Light and Lovely Scent
I was super excited to try this product. A few weeks ago, I was sent this product from Total Beauty to test out and write a review for. After trying this product a couple of times on my legs and arms, the first thing I noticed about this Vaseline Spray & Go moisturizer was how wonderful the scent is. The scent is pure oat extract + stratys 3 with multi-layer moisture. So what exactly is a Spray & Go moisturizer? It's exactly what it's name says: you spray this on and you're all ready to go! It "moisturizes in seconds so you can put your clothes right on". It has total moisture and is non-greasy. So perfect for the winter time when you have layers of clothes as well as the summer time when you don't want to be sweating. Benefits of Vaseline's Spray & Go include Moisturizes & absorbs in seconds. Instantly leaves skin soft, not sticky or greasy. Dispenses evenly with one all-over spray. For best results: Hold 4 inches from skin and spray over arms, legs and body in a continuous motion. Quickly rub into skin and go! Convenient
If you are anything like me, then you probably think that spray-on sunscreen is the greatest thing EVER. I love the stuff, and it's the only kind of sunscreen I can get my fiance to wear. So I was kind of intrigued by this new Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer. I don't really have a problem with any of my usual body creams getting onto my clothes, since they absorb fairly well also, so the tagline of "absorbs quickly so you can put your clothes right on" isn't really a selling point for me. I really like that this spray dispenses just the right amount of lotion. It's very easy to use, the container fits comfortably in my hand and the spray nozzle works well. It can even be "locked" to avoid accidental sprays, just by twisting the top! The formula is fantastic--it easily absorbs into the skin with just a bit of rubbing. My skin is pretty normal (not dry) and this keeps my legs well moisturized for a few hours. I don't particularly care for the scent of the product (but if you like Vaseline products, this is the same scent). I also really like that this is not an aerosol-propelled product--it uses canned air.
