I Wanted To Like This But Didn't
I loved the concept of this product doing multiple tasks. The result, however, is very fake and makes every flaw show through. The matte effect is way too harsh. I found there is simply no coverage at all. I love the liquid BB creams, but this is a failure. Mixed Feelings
Okay, I was expecting a lot out of TooFaced's new BB "cream" because I so love their liquid BB cream, but it might not be my ideal foundation. Pros: Comes is a greater variation of colors and the lightest just disappears on my skin. Its super light weight; blends well and builds well. Offers superb coverage. When applied correctly, it gives you that beautiful velvet finish. Works well with other products either layered on top or underneath it. Cons: If you have dry skin in any place, this will show each and every flake. A through scrubbing, followed by a thick layer of lotion and topped with primer is required for me in this winter dryness. I hope it works better in the summer. Application and "getting it out" of its container is tricky. The little brush it comes with, while good quality for a finishing powder does not pick up this no-budge color well and I needed a round foundation brush (Urban Decay's Blurring Brush) to pick up the color and transfer it to my face. Overall, I think that this product is too dry, at least for winter time use. I think that if you are willing to go that extra mile, you get very pretty and polished results, but I am to lazy to do this every day :-). Next, I am going to try adding Moroccan oil to see if it softens the cake and helps application.
