I have puny lashes, and this primer gives them length and thickness. It sometimes can become clumpy with certain mascaras (like Chanel), but usually if you let the primer dry well before you apply mascara, it is flawless. I have short barely existant lashes and went to Sephora looking for a primer. Two different ladies recommended the one from Smashbox. Best unknown product!
Not many people use primers when it comes to mascara but I couldn't get the best effects as I do with the whole nine instead of using the multi-tasking mascaras. I have been experimenting with different lash primers but this one reigns supreme. It gives my short lashes the attention it deserves before the addition of the black or blue mascara.
