Estee, You Can Do Better Than This . . .
I don't know what I spend researching and trying the most--moisturizers, mascaras, or eye shadows. Probably moisturizers. My skin is in good shape so far, with no wrinkles at all. I do my best to keep it that way. In modeling school I learned that the sun is skin's worst enemy, no matter what season. I always use products containing SPF and a separate SPF as well. One of my all-time favorite...read more products is Estee Lauder's "Perfectionist [CP+R] Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum." It leaves my skin wonderfully hydrated, with a velvet-like finish. The last time I went to renew my supply of this, the saleswoman asked if I use it in combination with their "Advanced Time Zone" cream. I told her no. She said, "You can't possibly use the Perfectionist alone!" Her tone was just condescending enough to bring out a rather sarcastic remark from me: "Well, I do, and my face is still intact!" She looked disgusted and walked away. I thought about her suggestion and visited another store to purchase Time Zone for dry skin, since it was the middle of winter and keeping skin supple was a major battle. Estee Lauder boasts that you will look younger in a mere five days. It contains a Tri-HA Cell Signaling Complex™ which is supposed to help skin boost its own production of Hyaluronic Acid by 182 percent in three days (I'm sorry, but these numbers amuse me and don't help to sell the product; how do they determine a measurement of 182 percent, please?). I do love Hyaluronic Acid and have seen it work wonders for me before. This is a truly emollient, rich cream. It is refreshing and comforting. It is to be used at night and in the morning. When I used it at night, I was annoyed at the slick finish left behind. I attempted to use it during the day under makeup--that was completely impossible. No matter how little I used or how well I blended, any base (liquid or powder) would congeal on my skin. Yes, my skin was silky, but no more than with any other moisturizer. Perhaps this would work for other women; it did nothing but agitate me.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
