Pretty But STRONG!

A friend gave this to me at Christmas. The potential for Prada's "Candy" to be sensual is there--I love the key notes of Caramel, Musk, Vanilla, and Benjoin. But it came off too harsh for me. I gave it plenty of time to "settle" and meld with my body chemistry, but I found it too strong. I wound up passing it on to another friend.

Meh

I seem to not have much luck with Prada scents! This is yet another one that doesn't work for me. When I first put it on (and let it settle into my skin a bit) my first thought was that it didn't really smell like anything! I could tell I was wearing perfume but the scent, while strong, was somehow underwhelming. It's hard to describe. My husband's response was that it seemed like a more mature sc...read moreent. Not unpleasant, but something he'd expect on someone older than myself. As the day has continued I can tell it's definitely floral, but I'm not picking up any of the caramel (or "modern caramel," whatever that is) that they mention in the description of the scent. I don't really detect any sweetness to it at all. It gets 5 stars because it is holding up really well instead of wearing off quickly like so many other fragrances and if it's the type of scent you're into then it's definitely worth the money. I think I'll have a hard time even finishing the tiny sample I have and I definitely wouldn't purchase it for myself.

Sexy

My boyfriend purchased this for me... well maybe for him considering he won't let me wear it out of the house ;). It's a very sexy fragrance and Fenline44mom is right it does really smell similar to Pink Sugar without the staying power. Which is too bad because the way it smells when it first comes out of the bottle is so so yummy! Either way it is a very expensive perfume, much more then Pink Sugar for less of the scent. But I have to rate it high because honestly it just smells too good not too. I too like to layer it and actually layer it with Pink Sugar or Pink Sweet and Flirty from VS.

Great but misnamed

I got a sample of this fragrance at Sephora and thought, "Oh no. A teenybopper super sweet perfume that smells like candy …" I was wrong. One spray and I was floating on a cloud, a gilded, sensual cloud. The scent is much more subtle than I was prepared for. 'Other reviewers say it's strong so maybe those reviewers used more than one spritz but after one spray … the smell lasted on my clothes for hours.

Candy

This smells very similar to Pink Sugar without the staying power. After it dries down a bit, it turns to a creamy carmel on me, which I love. I like to layer it with other fragrances I have to keep it interesting & increase it's longevity.

I really kind of love this perfume. The packaging is simplistic but cute and it doesnt take up a lot of space on my tiny vanity stand. The smell is nowhere near as sugary sweet as Pink Sugar; this is a vanilla- cotton candy- cookie-marshmallow kind of sweet smell that is delicious. My only qualm is the staying power- I feel like once it is sprayed on my body, it doesnt stay there and I cant sme...read morell it through the day. It does stay well on clothes, so I tend to spray it after I dress, but even then, you need to be up cloooose to catch a whiff. Its also very pricey, so I only buy it as the gift set, which usually also gives u a lotion and a rollerball for basically the same price

I love this!

I actually was never that crazy about Prada fragrances before this one. I thought a lot of them were a little too strong. But I loved this right away. It smells sweet but not too overpowering.

not so lasting...

I love the scent of this perfume, smells as sweet like a candy. And I am the fan of sweet and very girlish perfumes. Myhusband loves it on me too. But I was very disappointed as it did not last long, just for 2 hours and then it is gone. That was really frustrating.
