Spiky Lashes? Uh no!

My experience has been that the shape of the brush means just about EVERYTHING when it comes to a mascara. This brush is spiky and as a result, I ended up with spiky eyelashes! Not cute and certainly not pretty. I can't attest to the formula too much, since I couldn't get past the medieval instrument my lashes turned into, but from the other reviewer it sounds like the formula isn't all that water...read moreproof. I bought the waterproof version since my eyelids tend to get oily and it transfers shadow and mascara all over the place. Out of drugstore mascaras, I seem to have the best luck with Maybelline and I will be sticking with that.

I like this stuff for everyday on the top lashes not bottom because it does smudge even if it is waterproof. I would recommend this if your eyes arent too watery

Not as good as the original voluminous..

I have been a fan of the original voluminous in carbon black for many years but I am always looking around for new ones that may be better. I have tried another mascara from the voluminous collection but wasn't too crazy with the formula or the rubble bristles. So I saw this one and decided to give it a try. Now this is not a bad mascara, but still not as good as the original voluminous. It i...read mores a very nice black, and does provide volume and some length, and I like the fiber bristle brush. However, I found that it clumps easily. The original can tend to clump just a little bit after a second layer, but this started clumping on the first layer. I really don't like clumps, so I tried to brush them out, and it looked better. I kept wearing this mascara for a few days because the first impression isn't always accurate but always ended up with the same results. I also notice that it smudges a bit when I sweat. After I use this up I probably wont re-purchase because I still prefer the original.

Loreal Voluminous waterproof mascaras

Threw out the mascara after it literally ran down my cheeks from happy tears. It also burned my eyes during that,didn't like how the brush clumped up either

Too Voluminous for my liking..

I've used this mascara I think once? I was not happy with the results.. Yes, it does say voluminous, but it's WAY to voluminous. It leaves your eyelashes very clumped together and overall just to bushy.. I'd rather have my eyelashes more spread and elegant than bushy and overpowering.

Smudges terribly

Was so excited about this mascara when I applied it because it goes on like a dream and doesn't clump. Unlike other reviewers I apply with an eyelash comb and don't use the wand. The big problem is that it smudges horribly. Have tried it a few days in a row with the same result. Will not buy again.
