Great Foundation

I am not a foundation person to begin with, so when a foundation wows me, it wows me! I love this foundation. It doesn't make my face feel greasy. It lasts well and really does help my skin look more radiant. I also love the color choices and it blends well.

What a surprise!

I have been using Clinique foundation, and have no real desire to sway from that; however, I had almost a full tube of my "Summer" Clinique foundation, and was not about to spend $23+ on a Fall/Winter foundation again. I ended up buying in Sand Beige which is SO close to what I get in my Clinique version. My skin tends to be Combo/Dry in the Fall/Winter and Combo/Oily in the Summer. This foundation provides just enough moisture and makes my skin look like SKIN; not a mask, but healthy. The pigments that create the luminosity are basically invisible; I couldn't even really see them. I expected there to be some mica in the makeup, but if there is, it is incredible subtle so no worries that you will look "glittery." Any makeup that provides "luminosity" is not going to be oil free completely; luminosity is just a fancy word for moisture, but this is non-comedogenic, so no breakouts. It didn't cause my skin to be greasy or have an oily appearance. I was surprised at how "runny" the formula seems to be; however, it did give me coverage. If you have acne, scars, multi-tonal skin, etc. you may want to use a heavier or thicker base. This was exactly what I was looking for!

Lumi

This is a light to medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish. I would recommend this product for someone with drier skin as this will give a pretty, hydrated look as is forgiving on dry patches. If you're looking for a matte finish, this is not the make-up for you. It goes on smoothly, blends easily, and it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. You can build it up to a medium coverage but...read more any more than that and it can start to look cakey. It's not long wearing at all though. I know I have oily skin and all, but even with a primer and a setting powder this foundation starts to fade away in about 5-6 hours. I think it wouldn't fade away so quickly when applied to dry skin though. Because it is a dewy finish, if you have oily skin you'll find yourself needing your oil blotters to make sure you don't go from looking dewy to oil slick-ish.

Nice!

During the colder/winter months my skin dries up and looks awful. Using this on top of the L'Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Primer makes my face look a little less dry and a little more healthy. I've read that for some people the foundation tends to get a little oily, which may be true, however with the cold weather and dry skin - I haven' t had any issues.

I Guess If You Find Your Skin Tone

I'm pretty disappointed in the whole true match line...i just dont feel like the spectrum is wide enough to match all skin tones nor do I feel like it really blends into the skin. It just sits on it. And this "lumi" foundation gives your skin such and unnatural glow in person and even worse in pictures. Skin is Instantly Brighter

I really loved the look of this foundation, it instantly brightened my skin and gave it a glow. My skin had that look like I had been drinking gallons of water all day without the oily consequences. A friend even commented on how great my skin looked. My only issue with it is that the coverage is not great. But with a good setting powder or concealer it is not really an issue.

Best Frugstore Foundation I've Used

This is my favorite drugstore foundation and works as well as some foundations from Sephora that cost $25+. The color selection is great and it gives you a dewy look without being too oily. That being said I do have Dry/Combination skin and I look for luminous, moisturizing makeup. You must use a primer and set this foundation with a powder, otherwise, it may become patchy after a few hours of wea...read morer or become greasy looking. But, when used properly, I always get compliments on my skin when wearing this foundation. It's light to medium coverage and often people cannot even tell I am wearing foundation, they just think my skin is naturally luminous. All in all, great value for the price point and my favorite in the drugstore.

Poor color selection

I was so disappointed after seeing reviews on youtube. I tried two neutral colors (my undertone is neutral) and they ran very pink. Also, the lightest color was too light and the next shade was too dark. There was no shade in between. It does have a luminous finish and the coverage is light to medium. I probably would have liked this if they had my color, they should have kept the colors the same as the original true match.

Love this foundation!

I don't wear foundation all the time because I prefer CC and BB creams but when I do wear foundation this is the one I use. It goes on smooth, stays on all day and has just enough illumination that it gives you a slight glow but doesn't make you look like you're oily. Some foundations make my T-zone oily by the middle of the day but I don't have to worry about that with Lumi.

All Occasions Type of Foundation

This is my go to foundation.. It looks beautiful and radiant all day and I never touch up my foundations throughout the day purely out of laziness (don't judge me lol or do idc) and it lasts a good 5-7 hours depending on what I'm doing that day and what the temperature is... The coverage is a solid medium but could be buildable I suppose, although I prefer to wear concealer instead of a whole othe...read morer layer of foundation... But thats just personal preference.. Overall AMAZING foundation.. I will repurchase until the death of me.
