Well..

I have extremely oily skin & this product worked the first time i used it...however after the first time my skin began to get oily again & it eventually stopped working within a week . When i put it on in the morning it doesn't even absorb oil .

Drugstore holy grail for shine touch ups

I've never tried a make up powder from sephora for the translucent mattifying effect so I'm sure there are some great ones out there, but I've found no reason to as this powder has been my go to for about two years now. I have combination skin (oily t-zone, normal cheeks) and this powder is exactly what i need to freshen up my foundation powder on my forehead throughout the day. Comparable to elf'...read mores $3 mattifying powder, but this contains way more product, is more translucent, and is more fine/less powder kicks up. I'm convinced this shine control powder has been the best at what it does as far as the drugstore products go from my experience.

My go-to setting powder

Love this as a finishing powder. Truly transparent and truly oil absorbing. When you lightly feather it over your T-zone, it helps set your makeup and reduce shine without creating a zombie.

Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

I love this powder! It takes away all the shine and oilyness on your face without making you look cakey or dead. It comes in one color that suits everyone because its transparent. It never gets cakey on my skin and you can use it with or without foundation! I also like the packaging and how its easy to open and has a built in mirror. You may have to reapply it later in the day but all in all, I really like this product and I recommend it(:
