Great If Used Properly

First, let me give some advice on primers in general, you have to let your skin care products absorb prior to applying primer, any primer. Second, let the primer itself absorb prior to applying your makeup. This primer's main function is to even out and balance the skin tone on sensitive skins. If used properly, and for the purpose for which it is intended, it does actually work. I am 44 yrs old, my skin is very fair, with a lot of red splotches, and I am very sensitive as well. I also call my skin "combination", meaning a combination of zits and wrinkles. LOL This product reduces the red splotches without causing me to break out or have irritated skin. My makeup goes on smoother and it stays on longer using this product and it doesn't settle into my fine lines. I also use it on days I don't want to wear makeup as it evens my skin and gives a layer of protection from pollution and airborne irritants.

Smells awful, doesn't work.

I saw no difference in my complexion while using this product at all. It was runny and smelled AWFUL. I do not recommend this at all.

Odd

The odour really put me off and the texture was odd, in general the odour was so bad I couldn't apply it to my face !

Horrible

Odd odor. Felt greasy and didn't do it's job as a primer at all. Made me break out after only one use. Waste of money.

super disappointing

I love Almay. For drugstore products they are so nice. Except for this primer. It feels like a lotion and has a weird color when all mixed together. The purple and green swirls are supposed to reduce discoloration on your skin and it didn't do anything for redness. It looked like I had just put face lotion on. It didn't do anything for my foundation, it was like I never applied primer. I have larg...read moree pores around my nose which is why I like primer but it did nothing to even out the look of my skin. In the end it was just an over hyped face lotion. I will give the product that however it moisturized my skin but that's about it.

BLEH!

I'm not a fan of Almay products. Most of their other products have been alright, but this one was icky! It made my skin oily and ugly. It honestly smelled terrible. I could barely apply it without gagging. I am not over exaggerating at all.

Gross

This primer made my face a mess. I even used it with the recommended foundation and it still was a cakey mess. Not to mention I thought it had a lingering smell that smelled horrible. After trying it for a week, I promptly returned it.

not a 10 but it works

i found this product works ok with boots no 7 firming lifting foundation. its not ideal and did take some adjusting but i found that if you wait for it to be semi-dry (not completly) it works. i am undecided on weather i will be repurchasing though.

Cakey runny = terrrrible!

I found that this primer made my makeup cakey and runny at the same time, which is a rather bad combination. When paired with maybelline's dream mousse whipped foundation, it was a disaster. I dont recommend this product at all.
