Underwhelming
I also received an unlabeled "mystery lotion" to review for Total Beauty, which turned out to be this product. The fragrance is that of your typical lotion--kind of floral/clean--kind of boring. The texture is a little runny in my opinion, although it does seem to help it sink into your skin quickly. The weird part though is that it sinks in quickly, and my skin feels different afterwards, but it doesn't actually feel MOISTURIZED. Honestly, the quality of this product is a little better than what you'd find in the average hotel room, sitting in a little plastic bottle on your sink. This is a classic lotion in the sense that it works well and doesn't smell like anything, great moisture and makes skin very soft without the greasy feel from a lot of lotions. It was just ok for me
I liked the texture of the lotion however the scent was just ok and I didn't find it to be the most moisturizing lotion ever. I applied it all over one morning and that afternoon I noticed by legs looked dry. I do tend to have really dry skin and I live in a dry climate so I usually need super moisturizing products. Good!
I like this lotion. It is your typical lotion: not too oily, absorbs quickly, moisturizes, nothing really special. In my opinion it does its job the way it is supposed to. Not too expensive, but honestly Vaseline has some amazing products in the market, and this does not cut it for me. I mean, I have other products by Vaseline, and this one is not the best of their products, not even close. Like i said before, it does its job, and it smells like the generic lotion, but it really is nothing special. I would recommend sticking with your favorite product of choice as far as lotion goes, because this product just is not just not that great. Not a bad product, just not that great and I only recommend those product that give me a "wow" facto and this doesn't so I would not buy again. Good
I was asked to review a body lotion, not knowing the brand or name of the product. What I discovered is that after showering I tried this product that smelled clean and fresh and easily soaked to the skin. It was very light, not very thick… After using the lotion for several days, I felt that my skin was soft and pleasant to the touch but unfortunately cannot repurchase it because it has oats in the ingredients and those who need products that are gluten-free will not be able to use it. So overall the lotion seemed decent and the scent was fairly light and it being a drugstore brand. Soft and Smooth
I love this lotion because it works as a great rehydrater and moisturizer. I live in the middle of a desert in Las Vegas, so my skin often gets really dry, so this is a great rescue. I also work outside all the time, so this lotion is perfect for making my skin soft and smooth again. The lotion is a great consistency and goes on easy. It doesn't feel greasy like some lotions and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I love that it is made with vitamins to help restore the glow to your skin and keep it looking great. Pleasantly Surprized
The scent was extremely light. The lotion went on very nicely and stayed on all day with a dewy moisture to my skin. I like the light scent because I use essential oils and it makes a nice base for those oils. No Wow-Factor
I received a small bottle of this to test from TB. It was sent in an un-marked package and at the time, I had no idea what brand it was. Originally, I thought it was Aveeno due to the ingredients on the back and have to say that I was surprised that it is Vaseline. I do like Vaseline lotions, and if I have a coupon or they are on sale, I will pick up a bottle or two. They are pleasant smelling, provide non-sticky moisture and absorb pretty quickly. However, my experience with most of their lotions is that they are, as one reviewer put it, "underwhelming." They don't last very long and they don't provide anything different than a dozen other brands of lotion do. I don't have much experience with Aveeno lotions, so if it had been Aveeno, I would still be surprised. It was nice, pleasant, worked well, but would I go out of my way to purchase? Not the best
