It's soap!

I love Olay products for body care. I got the opportunity to try this soap from Total Beauty and I was not super impressed by this bar soap after using it for a couple of days. The fragrance is very soothing, and fresh, just like cucumber. Like I said though, I have tried other products by Olay and I have been very satisfied but this product does not compare. The soap is not really moisturizing an...read mored does not leave the skin soft. So I guess if you want a soap that leaves you skin clean and fresh (just like any soap is supposed to do), this is the soap to try, since you can always moisturize with lotion right after the shower. I also liked that it's infused with avocado oil. Another thing i liked is the beautiful translucent green color, and how the massaging bar feels great on the upper back. Definitely a good line to try, but not as great as other Olay products like their body washes.

Not for Me

I love Olay products-they tend to be the best at Skincare out there, PLUS affordable. TB was generous enough to send me a full size bar to try and review. While I loved the massage nubs on the bar, that's where the love ended for me. This soap left my skin feeling dried out and tight like other bar soaps. It is very highly fragranced--that was the big deal killer for me. I think the amount of...read more fragrance caused my skin to be itchy. I did not like the smell at all. It was the signature Olay scent which is very perfume with a touch of cucumber. The scent lingered in my bathroom all day and my husband even commented that he did not like the smell of the new soap I was using. I recommend you smell it before you buy it. You will definitely be able to smell it through the wrapper. You probably also want to avoid it if you have any skin allergy or sensitivity. Bummer.

It's a nice soap - bar lasts!

I was fortunate to try this for Total Beauty. It's a nice soap. The fragrance is light and clean and doesn't linger, so it doesn't compete with your perfume. I don't have real dry skin on my body, so it was hydrating enough for me, but someone with dryer skin would probably need a moisturizer after showering. When having massaging bumps on a bar of soap you have tom expect that they are not going to last for very long and certainly not going to last the life of the bar of soap. It would be impossible for them to wear down in such a way that they would stay higher than the rest of the bar. So they're nice for a few uses, as long as you use the bar to directly rub onto your skin. It was nice for sore legs. After the first few uses I used the soap with a washcloth or scrubby. It provides a generous amount of rich, creamy lather, however I used it. It rinses cleaner than many bar soaps and doesn't leave film behind on my skin. It also doesn't leave a layer of soap scum in the shower to clean up, which is always a plus! All in all it's soap. Has some nice features, but personally I'll stick to shower gel - I just like it better. But for when I want a bar of soap, this is definitely one I would purchase.

It's OK

I am a sucker for luxurious bathing products. I love quality products that smell GREAT. I was given the opprotunuty to review this bar soap for TB. I am not a fan of bar soap. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent, it smells fresh but (thankfully) not like a salad (lol), but the scent does not linger. I didn't find that it lathered well when used alone. I guess I didn't get the massage fac...read moretor, because it didn't really massage. I used it with my poof and then it lathered very well. I purpposely didn't use a afterbath moisturizer after using this product, and had no dry skin issues. So for me it was moisturizing enough. I was a little disappointing that the scent didn't last past the shower. i likely will not buy the bar , but if they sold it in body wash I might try it in the summer.

Lacks functionality

This is a bar of soap with "massaging" nobs. Yes, it works fine the first two or three times around (it's nothing special), but as you can imagine the nobs wear down after a few times in the shower...the product is not really functional for that reason alone--definitely don't buy it for the massaging aspect. Otherwise, it smells good and is moisturizing. I would still prefer to use an Olay shower gel over this product.

Love this soap

This is a great massaging bar soap, and it smells refreshing too! This will definitely be my new go to soap to buy! I recommend this soap to others.

Ok...but not as great as other scents

I typically LOVE the Olay massaging bar soaps & this one smells great BUT does NOT leave my skin feeling smooth & silky like the other Olay varieties. This one seem almost sticky
