Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream Reviews

Effective, but pricey and smelly
This cream really leaves hair soft and shiny, as promised. I like that fact that it isn't drying like silicone-based shine-enhancers. What I don't like about this is the smell. It's not a strong bad smell, but every now and then, while wearing it, I'd get a slight whiff of it in my hair. It just wasn't good - sort of like a faint smell of sour milk mixed with bleach. I take away 2 stars for the scent and 1 star for the high price. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Kinda pricey.
This is a great hair cream though. It smooths out my frizz, and makes my hair shiny and soft. The stuff smells really good as well, and you only need a little bit to get the job done. Only thing that prevents me from buying it regularly is the price tag. But if you are searching for soft, shiny, smooth hair that looks natural--this is for you. Be careful to scrub your hands well after using it because it kind of stays on your palms. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

It's ok
I will not buy again. It is expensive, and can leave hair looking greasy. Yes it gives shine but this product is thick greasy and difficult to wash off hands when done applying.I can think of many other way better priced products that work much better. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

FABULOUSITY AT ITS FINEST!!
I absolutely LOVE this product!! I got it as a free sample from Sephora and was instantly hooked! From the very first time I used it, my hair almost instantly felt softer and looked shinier. I have very thick, naturally curly hair and it's hard to find a product that will give me shine, softness and take away any flyaways and/or frizzies. This product delivers it all!! But, be careful: Using too much of this product will make your hair look and feel greasy and heavy. A little definitely goes a long way! And it ranges in price from $23-$32 so you don't want to waste any! I can't go a day without using this stuff and I highly recommend that everyone go out and buy some!!! — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Best of the best
There are so many things to say about this line I don't know where to start or end. I never use creams because I don't trust them on my curly fine hair (being obviously that it would re-curl) this was more like a serum with the more convenient texture of the cream it sinks into hair quickly and easily and assists in styling. I definately noticed an improvement immediately in the look of split ends and fly aways and also it responds well to heat. Obviously number one with Fekkai is the smell which is beyond fabulous. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Okay, here's the truth
This is good stuff. I finally broke down and tried it after hearing and reading all the glowing reviews, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The cream softened my fine, frizzy hair and made it super shiny (my highlights looked fantastic, too). You only need a small amount (I separate my hair into three sections and use a pea-size on each section before blowdrying)to get great results so this offsets the price a bit. It sorta makes your hair look like "2nd day hair" from the get-go, but it doesn't get greasy too quickly either; your blow-out will last awhile. The cream makes your hair irresistably soft but it doesn't really make your hair appear much healthier and I noticed a ton of static while using it (yikes). Overall I would definitely purchase this product again as the softness, color enhancement, and shine are very addictive. This beats all others I've tried, but it's not perfect. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Little Product Goes A Long Way
Recommended by ULTA staff. Great for taming my hair especially in dry summer season. Due to price and effectiveness of product, I only got the small size (1.6 oz). Still using it... — 2 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A must have
I have naturally wavy and very frizzy hair that I flat iron almost every day. I use this stuff when I am all finished and it leaves my hair looking soft, silky, and shiny. It also gives it a humidity barrier so my hair will be frizz free all day! Love this stuff and will continue to use — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

Solid styling product.
Provides a mild hold, while also helping to moisturize and smooth hair. Not great, but good. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love This Stuff!
I received a free sample of Fekkai Glossing Cream. Never having heard of the product, I thought for free, what the heck, I'll give it a try. As someone with fine, straight hair, I didn't know how much it could do for me, but wow, this stuff rocks. It destroys static electricity, makes my hair super shiny, and tames fly-a-ways. A tiny amount goes a long way, and I've been squeezing out every last drop of my sample pack. I plan to buy a full size bottle when I run out. It's going to be great for the dry winter months. The only reason I give it a 9 is because after using it for several days in a row, I need to take a break from it for a day or two or my hair becomes a little too limp. I'm going to try a change in shampoo to see if that helps with build-up. Overall, a great product :) — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
