Smells good BUT....

All St. Ives products (that I've tried and I have tried a lot) makes me break out like crazy! In my teen years, I suffered a lot from acne and I wanted to try every kind of face wash or scrub that could possibly help especially when the name says anything about acne or blackheads. I was drawn to this name because it's supposed to "clear blemish." NOT! I broke out even more and this scrub was so ab...read morerasive that my skin was red by the time I washed this off. The scrub in here is not like those kinds of scrubs that "melts" away as you cleanse. I believe it's crushed apricot seeds. Now I don't consider my skin to be sensitive at all but this was just too harsh on my skin and that's probably what led to more acne on my face.

Keeps Blackheads at Bay

I think when it comes to blackheads, I am in the worst position. My pores are tiny, which is nice, until I get blackheads in them. Then, my tiny pores makes treating blackheads nearly impossible until I found this scrub by the recommendation of a close friend. I love how much product you get for the price, and it really makes a difference. I have noticed less blackheads, less oil, and smoother, softer skin. Love it.

Awesome!

This product is amazing. It leaves my skin super soft. I only use it 3-4 times a week. I dont know if its because of this, but i have noticed i break out less. Oh! and this just smells fantastic. Ima for sure keep buying this product.

Reasonably priced

I use this not only on my face, but any other areas of my body where I need help with breakouts or bumps. It is the least expensive scrub on the market, and it works.

Very Affordable Scrub

I like to use this every other day or when I am in the shower. It effectively removes dry flakes and helps to lighten my blackheads. It's not a dramatic difference but it smells alright and makes your skin softer. I don't find that this leaves my skin red and irritated as long as I use it according to the instructions. Daily User for 4 Years!

This is probably my favorite drugstore scrub EVER! Words do not describe my love for St. Ives, but I'll try my best. I started using this when I was just 14 years old and really starting to crack down on my acne. Since my skin is so stubborn, I began using this in combination with Proactiv to really clean my skin. It has salicylic acid in it to slough off dead skin so pores don't get clogged with ...read moredead cells, which forms pesky pimples and blackheads! It's my preferred scrub over others like Clean n Clear or Neutrogena because it's so gritty and rough. I, having really high maintenance and flaky skin, need an extremely gritty scrub to open up infected and clogged pores. This one is great if you have not-so-sensitive skin, but I have used it on my friends with sensitive skin and it works just as well, but maybe as a weekly scrub. The smell is great compared to most other salicylic acid treatments, and I've noticed when it gets in my mouth a little in the shower, it actually has a sweet taste, like it's very natural and safe. I just love it, it will always be my go-to face wash.

Great

I have been using this product for about 2 years now mainly because I haven't found anything better for my skin. I have a skin condition of oil build up on my arms and this has been a lifesaver for them. Although, for my face which is what it is intended for has not been the most impressive exfoliating scrub for my face. It's definitely a better body scrub than facial scrub.

St. Ives Acne Apricot Scrub

I have been using this scrub for a while. It does a good job at exfoliating and helping to clear up my skin, although I still have a lot of clogged pores (it's probably just my skin). Always moisturize after using this product, and don't use it more than what the instructions say, and you should be fine though. Once I run out of this I will immediately repurchase it. Even though my skin is super dry, I use this weekly before a mask, it's the best exfoliator, I've tried millions of other exfoliating products, but always come back to this

The best ever!
