MY FAV DRUGSTORE MASCARA!!
this is by far, my most favorite drugstore mascara!! and trust me, i have tried a looooot of drugstore mascaras. of course this mascara by maybelline doesn't make your lashes look like fake lashes like the name suggests, but it is definitely the next best thing to wearing fake lashes! the brush is a curved and is a good size, it is great at getting all the little lashes towards the corners of your eyes. the texture goes on smooth and doesn't clump or smear against your upper eyelid. however you do need to curl your lashes beforehand and apply several coats to get your lashes blackened, volumized and thick-looking. the good thing is that you can apply many coats and it wont clump like some volumizing mascaras, and it also wont leave your lashes looking like spider legs like some lengthening mascaras. i love how during the end of the day, it doesnt smudge underneath my eyes either! it takes me about 1 and a half months to go through one tube, but luckily it is affordable so i can keep re-buying it. i'd definitely encourage others to give this mascara a try!! :) — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

THE BEST DRUGSTORE MASCARA
I can't get over how amazing this mascara is. It's not only the best drugstore mascara I've ever tried, it's one of the best I've ever tried even when I include the really expensive ones. First of all, they really mean it when they say waterproof. I can go swimming for HOURS and it'll still be on my lashes, and they'll still be super full and long looking. It really almost does make me look like I'm wearing false lashes. I don't see how anyone could find anything to complain about in this mascara. It's just so great. This formula never clumps, and never gives me the dreaded spider legs look. It looks really natural and pretty. I don't plan on switching mascaras for a really long time now that I've found this. AMAZING
This is THE BEST mascara I have ever used. A lot of bloggers use it and it looks fantastic in pictures and in real life. It does exactly what it says and it doesn't flake or smear -- even when I rub my eyes! Bleh
I tried this mascara after my friend, who has similar mascara taste as me, raved about it. It made my lashes look voluminous and long, but nothing my holy grail CoverGirl LashBlast Luxe couldn't already achieve. I was very disappointing when half way through the day I looked in the mirror and I had terrible raccoon eyes! This mascara also flakes on me but does not my friend and her sister. Maybe I'm oily? Satisfactory.
Pros: It held my straight, asian lashes. Waterproof. Somewhat volumizing. Affordable. Cons: It gave small amount of volume at the base of my lashes rather than the top. Not lengthening. Brush hard to work with at first. Overall: It was an ok mascara not the best, but not the worst. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK VOLUM' EXPRESS THE FALSIES WATERPROOF MASCARA
I don't like this mascara at all. Very wet as someone else mentioned and weighs lashes down even after curling. Doesn't add enough length or volume or make my eyes stand out. Super sticky formula. Super clumpy

Really like!
I constantly change out what mascara I use, but I actually bought this one twice! It stays on in the humidity and when you swim, but comes off when you take soap and water to it. I never understood what women meant when they said that during mascara application, the mascara would get on their face. This mascara introduced that poor concept to me. It's very clumpy on the verge of out of control clumpy, and when I apply it, it somehow gets on my face. Very annoying! It also seemed heavy. It would bring down my curls and just make me look like I had spider eyes because it's also a "wet" mascara. It looked wet on the wand and looked wet on my eyelashes, and it's just not a good one.
