The color is good.....
But I don't like how it peels and flakes off. I like the moisturizing lip balm that comes on the other end. It really is moisturizing as promised. great Product
I really like this product. I enjoy the infallable ones (once I figured out how to use them), but I find the lipbalm on this one to be glossier and much more rich. When you apply you really must use a thin coat and make sure the edges are smoothed out (I use my fingers), or else you will get a weird harsh shiny line. Too thick of a coat will cause pilling of the color. I love that they are cheaper...read more than the infallibles too. They have a good color selection and I love the pretty pearly pink one especially. I find these stay all day with minimal wear. They are easily removed with a makeup wipe. The only thing you need to be careful of with any of these 24 hour color/balm products is that greasy food will cause it to come off. Really long lasting
My mother got this for me for the first time and I really loved it. The colors really do last all day. I can put this on in the morning and later in the day I will check on it and the color will still be there, the only thing I have to re-apply is the lip balm. The only thing I noticed is that without the lip balm, the color can be a bit drying for my lips but once the lip balm is on, it moisturiz...read morees them. Great Stuff!
Let me tell you just how great this stuff is! As me and one of my friends were just getting to know each other we went on a road trip. We had breakfast, went shopping, had lunch, more shopping and then dinner. As we were driving home my friend asked me if I had had the color tattooed on my lips. I laughed and said, "no, why?" She said, "because we've ate all day long and been gone all day long and...read more your lipstick looks just like it did when we got on the road this morning." It truly is a wonderful lipstick. The trick is applying it correctly. It looks like paint and you apply it with a long sponge tipped applicator. When I take the applicator out of the tube I first wipe off most of the lipstick back onto the tube. Reason being, you want to apply a thin coat and then more if needed. Keep your lips apart so it can dry. This only takes about 30 seconds. It will dry to a matte finish which is what I like so I never use the clear coat. When you're ready to remove it just use something like baby oil or the lotion of your choice. It's by far the best brand and type of lip color I've ever used. It comes in many different shades (it's good to know whether you need warm shades or cool shades) and not expensive at all. Amazing when used correctly - Instructions included
This is how I use this product, and it works wonderfully: 1. I exfoliate my lips with my toothbrush to remove any flaky skin. 2. I immediately apply vaseline to my lips to moisturize. 3. After a half hour, I wipe my lips of any remaining vaseline. Must have a dry clean slate, but not dry lip skin where it is flaky. 4. I apply the lip color by dabbing a little bit starting on the bottom lip. Bl...read moreend before it dries. 5. I do the same on top, by carefully making sure to stay in the lip line. 6. Wait for the product to completely dry. 7. Apply the lip shine. Do not let you lips dry out. Carry the lip shine with you and moisturize as needed. If you skip this part, you lips will get dried out and your lip color will come off. Another thing, is to make sure to wash your fingers immediately after applying the product. It will be very difficult to take off once it has dried. I have also had the experience of putting a lip color on and not liking it, and taking it off was a huge hassle. What I have done now, is to have a separate toothbrush just for exfoliating my lips, taking off the lip color, and taking the lip color off of my fingers. I love all the extended lip colors because I can eat, wipe my face, and not have to worry about the lip color going all over my face, teeth, food, and glass. Not to mention, that I will still have my lip color on after all of it. not crazy about it
This lip color is ok, but not great. I bought the pink one and it came out way too tacky for my tastes. I was not crazy about the sparkles in the color, which made me look like I was in high school or something. However, the balm that comes with it did moisturize my lips and made the color last surprisingly long. not my favorite
