Stila Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm Reviews

Fairly Nice!
I find this one to be quite nice compared to some of the other beauty balms/BB creams that I've tried. Although I'm still not a fan of BB cream as I am personally looking for more coverage so I tend to go for CC creams or regular foundations. However, I have found that this one applies very well, tones down the redness, dries fairly nice and it has low shine, not overly oily like some of the others. It may be helpful to follow with a light dusting of face powder afterwards. It has minimal coverage as with all beauty balms. I like that fact that it has benificial ingredients. I do not wear any other face creams when I wear this, since it's supposed to already have them in it. So over all this is probably one of the better choices of beauty balms. — 3 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

One of my new fave products!
I've been using this for about a month or so and I love it. It's taken the place of my usual primer (Smashbox Photo Finish or Bare Minerals Prime Time). This is the first beauty balm I've tried and I'm completely on the fence in regard to checking others out because this stuff works so well. I have good skin to begin with, maybe that's why I feel it's performing well, but it evens out my complexion and is so smooth when applied. It leaves my skin so silky. It's dry in less than 30 seconds, which is a huge bonus as well. I'm usually applying this after my moisturizer that has SPF 20, but like the previous reviewer, I totally agree that this should have SPF in the formula as standard practice. No one should be leaving the house without it, no matter their coloring, age, or where they live, a product like this should have it without customers having to ask for it, absolutely. For me, that's the biggest con to this product, but since I'm adding additional SPF over it with my tinted moisturizer, it's not that big an issue, but it should still be in there for those that aren't heavy SPF users like I am. Since starting to use this product I have been able to use significantly less concealer and my skin is now foundation optional. I don't have any wrinkles or tone issues, so that might be why I feel it's a high performer. Yes, this is a bit expensive, but even with daily use, you shouldn't need to use a whole lot of it. I find that applying it with a make-up sponge helps me use 75% less during the application process, plus the sponge really helps get the blendability that I desire. I highly recommend searching for this on Ebay in a trial tube before committing to the full size, which is what I did. If I'd hated it, I wouldn't have purchased it beyond the trial tube, which lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. So, for someone who'd never used a beauty balm before, this stuff rocks, but if you're going to use it make sure you have your own SPF action going on because there isn't any in here and there should be. Beyond that, shop around a bit for it to save a little money and allows you to use a fantastic product at a better price. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Favorite BB cream
Normally I'm not a huge fan of BB creams because I have old acne scars I usually like to keep covered. This is the first one I've used that gave me coverage I was looking for! The reason it's an 8 not. 10... The smell! It smells horrible. I hated opening this package up and putting it on my face because the smell simply made me cringe. Other than that, great product! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

disappointed
I heard such great things about it but was a little underwhelmed when I tried it, considering it's a little on the expensive side. It feels really thick, and definitely moisturizing, but the coverage isn't so great. I think I would really enjoy it if it had better coverage. I have tinted moisturizer that covers better. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

ORANGE.
I loved the texture of this, and I'm sure it works for some people. I'm super pale, and this was WAY orange. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Review subject
I've tried a few different BB creams and this one is my favorite. While I haven't really noticed a difference in my skin, what I really like is that I use very little and I get a beautiful even complexion. I also love that it's neither greasy nor matte, just very natural looking with sheer coverage. I would give it a 10 but the smell is a little too flowery for me. Not a bad smell, I would have just preferred it to be unscented — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Where is the SPF?
Haven't noticed any difference/change in wrinkles or skin tone/texture after many weeks of use. Pros: Keeps foundation in place for hours with blotting every couple of hours. Helps even out minor (very minor) skin tone/texture issues to allow for less foundation use. I really love the fact that it dries almost instantly after applied; no oily, wet feeling. Cons: Doesn't smooth out nor help fade (fill in) the look of any wrinkles. The product doesn't settle into them (which is a con). NO SPF?!?! Really? Why would anyone make a product for day use without SPF? Lastly...does nothing for pores. Again, it doesn't settle into them but is sure doesn't blur, fill, make them appear smaller, fade or whatever it is supposed to do. Not sure I would repurchase. The price tag is way too high considering pros vs cons. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 9 people said helpful
