Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara
This was terrible. It is a super thin formula that made my lashes crispy. My lashes were not voluminous or defined Back to the drawing board for this one! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Lash Definition
I got a deluxe sample of this in a Bare Minerals kit as a 500 point reward from Sephora. Generally I am unimpressed by Bare Minerals because the products I have tried from them have been disappointing. This mascara is actually the best thing I have tried from Bare Minerals so far. The wand is plastic, which I usually don't care for but this one is nice. It tapers to a fairly fine point making it easy to get to the inner and outer corner lashes without making a mess. The filter on the tube of mascara is really great too because it gets ALL the excess mascara off the brush, leaving you with just what you need for an eye. This lengthens and defines my lashes really nicely without any clumping. It doesn't do much by way of volumizing, but it doesn't claim to either. Bare Minerals has another mascara with a completely different wand for that. I find this to be a pretty basic mascara, albeit nice. I don't love it enough to pay $18 for it because I think there are a lot of other mascaras on the market for the same price or less that do just as much or more than this one does. However, I will enjoy using the remainder of the deluxe sample. — 7 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I like this mascara. I have long full lashes so this is perfect to define them. I like the brush beause it helps to separate them. I have not experienced significant flaking or that I end up with racoon eyes by the end of day like with some other mascaras I've used. Overall, it works for me & I would repurchase. — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

not the best, not the worst
Bare Minerals claims “you’ll enjoy every lash. The tapered wand lengthens, darkens and lifts, separating each individual lash for precision definition.” So does it hold up to its reputation? The packaging is a nice understated tube. The brush is similar to the Lorac 3D Multiplex mascara where it is a solid plastic brush except that this one is not curved. The formula is fairly thick, but not too thick. Yep its black, it thickens the lashes, but it does not curl or lengthen. I don’t really like it. I tried it for a couple weeks but I never really started liking it. It did start clumping a bit. The thing I liked least about this mascara is every time I wore it my eyes felt like they had something in them after just a couple hours. The first couple times I chalked it up to other things – I do try new products VERY frequently so I figured it might have been something else. Low and behold it was this because the day I stopped using it, no more itchy eyes, no more flakes on my face. Would I buy it again? No, the itchy eyes alone do it – but then the clumps? Nope. Will I finish the sample? Nope, I used for 2 weeks and I am done – it is not empty but I’m tossing it. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful
